Overall a very pleasant few days in a hotel with professional staff in an ideal position to explore the town/harbour.
We happened to be present when the Liberation events took place which gave the Island an extra "buzz".
Also took in the afternoon horse racing - after a tortuous drive trying to locate it. Indeed the only difficulty we had was following the tourist map to track down some of the points of interest.
Found three excellent restaurants - one of which insisted on tearing out a voucher in a magazine in reception to give us a 10% discount.
Generally friendly, safe courteous staff everywhere and discovered some lovely spots to explore - we will be back!

The staff at the hotel are lovely, ensuring that my birthday meal in the hotel restaurant was perfect. The food at the hotel is good, and excellent value for money. The bar area is nice but a bit short on comfy chairs, due to lack of space. The stair areas are in need of an upgrade, looking a bit worn, and the plumbing has a mind of its own.

It is close to the beach and the nice restaurants. The staff are very nice!!! They are willing offer help and the information is very useful. The beds are very comfortable!!! But the wifi sometimes can't reach the room. Overall, I really enjoy my stay in this hotel.

I was a little sceptical about this hotel as it is only two star rated. However I was very pleased to find that it was easily of three star quality in terms of comfort and decor, with a nice pool (small) area and coffee shop/snack bar. When I enquired why it was only two star I was informed that the lack of a telephone in the room was the reason, which didn't bother me in the slightest.
The only downside for me was not being able to get wifi in my room.

The capital of Jersey and home to fewer than 30,000 people, St Helier boasts beaches, shopping, and culture. High street shops include department stores, designer shops, and fine quality jewellery boutiques. St. Helier also has the Jersey Opera House, which offers musicals, dance, and comedy.
