The hotel just opened for the season on the weekend that we stayed. The hotel staff was friendly, and we loved the view. The breakfast was just okay, I would recommend skipping the hotel breakfast and finding somewhere in town to eat at. I would say that it's a family friendly place to stay, it was nice that there was a refrigerator in the room so that we could keep snacks for the kids. Overall, it's a good place to stay for the price, there are no bells and whistles just a nice budget friendly hotel.

Ideal short stay hotel at affordable rent and located 5mins away from St. Ignace port. Clean room, good service, front desk staff was very kind and provided all the information that we needed about the things that we can do on the island.

3rd floor view and What a comfortable bed. Supper clean. Forgot cell charger. Called office...put on hold and 2 minutes later were told " c0me pick it up in the office". Returned for pickup and desk lady brought it out to the car in a light rain and 40 degrees!

This is a nice hotel in a convenient location. The rooms were clean and well-maintained. The staff was pleasant and helpful. My only complaint would be the breakfast - too many sugary options and very little protein available, but there a plenty of nearby restaurants.

Our room was upgraded because a large school group was staying at the hotel, so they moved us away from the students. We had a nice room overlooking the lake. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Breakfast was satisfactory.

The motel was very nice for the money. The facilities like the pool and hot tub was a plus for me and my family. We stayed in the pines. The room smelled musty, and the mattress was really uncomfortable. I would recommend this motel. The pros were the view of the lake close to town for shopping and ferry service to island. The decor in the room was very appealing, and the lay out of the motel. We diffently will be back. Thank you.

In East Moran Bay on the southern point of the Lower Peninsula, St. Ignace is one of the oldest cities in Michigan. Stop by the Museum of Ojibwayu Culture and the St. Ignace Mission, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Swim at the Sand Dunes, explore Michigan’s Magical Harbor, or head north to see Castle Rock--a 196-foot-tall limestone sea stack.
