extremely rude staff

Posted Nov 23, 2014
While trying to check in via a front foyer phone, I had made an error on my reservation, and the staff person was quite rude, hung up on me and told me to call Expedia. He would not check me in. I called the next day asking for the owners name and he hung up on me again. I've already told 10-15 friends. More to come.

Bed and breakfast with no breakfast

Posted Nov 20, 2014
The room we stayed in was really nice, had practically anything you could need. The one problem was the poor quality of the continental breakfast. There was some cereal and some pieces of fruit and that was about it. Really disappointed.

Really quint looking room which I loved.

Posted Nov 11, 2014
Pros: It was affordable, and it was in the perfect end of town for shopping, and other things we had to do.
Cons: Put an arrow on the lane down to the parking area. I parked way down the street before I finally figured out where I could park the car.
Location: Perfect location for me.
Had a comforable night's sleep. Very quiet, and according to my partner the breakfast was delidious(more than she expected). The bathroom was the cleaniest I have seen in long time, as was the main room.

Noisy Room

Posted Oct 24, 2014
Pros: The older style. Building security.
Location: It's located close to dowtown so location is good.
The room we were its self, was fine except for the racket caused by activity above us. The occupant above us decided to start their day at aprox: 4:45 AM. Hey to each their own but every step they made caused the chandler in our room to shake and make a rattling noise that kept us awake. They left at around 6 but then someone decided to go right in after that and tidy up the room and I believe a hoarse may have been used to move things around as there was extensive noise that went on for some time.

Great experiance, would stay again

Posted Oct 22, 2014 on Hotels.com
Such a beautiful home. Beautiful decor. Our room was very welcoming, such a warm cozy feeling. Bed was comfortable linines were clean and crisp. Over all it was a good experiance. Only cons: claw tub was old and the finish was rubbed off, would never bath in it. The shower was terriable. The taps were weird to ise and the force of water was extreamly low. Me haveing long thick hair made it hard to get the shampoo out, the level of hot water was very low

Nice B&B

Posted Oct 12, 2014
Cons: The hospitality.
Location: This is 2 minutes from downtown St. john's there was a ton of great restaurants, close to the mile one and a lot of cute shops.
I stayed here on business - if you are looking for the quaint B&B feel with the newfoundland hospitality this wouldn't be your best option. I didn't meet the hosts until the last day, my key was left at the front door for me and for the majority of my stay I didn't really see anyone. Breakfast was supposed to be served from 8:00 - 8:45 - I went out for breakfast at 8:30 and no one was to be found so I guess I missed it. That being said - I was on the purpose of business and with a very busy week I enjoyed the fact that I could go in and out really easily with no worry about bothering someone if I was coming late ect. The room was very large and the bed was extremely comfortable. I had a BEAUTIFUL 5 ft claw foot tub to soak in every night and it was really nice to have a coffee maker in my room with me. Overall I would definitely stay here again.
