Lovely OasisPosted May 22, 2015
We recently returned from a wonderful visit to Antigua and spent two nights here. It's a lovely boutique hotel that is immaculately maintained by a wonderful and welcoming staff. The only problem we had was a water heater that went on the blink. We were without hot water for 15 hours. All in all, it wasn't a disaster since tap water was lukewarm and the outside temp was in the 80's! Go there!!

Relaxing propertyPosted May 18, 2015
Pros: Flowers, garden, beach, clear ocean, restaurant and bar, nice amenities in room, spacious, very helpful attentive staff
Cons: Would be good to have the entire unit under a/c to use as needed
Location: Walking distance to several restaurants and ministore
Easy check in experience. Nice to be recognized. Relaxing room with garden at patio and nice flowers throughout. A/C in bedroom only, but OK as it was nice to experience the sights and sounds with windows open. Very relaxing. On the beach. Beautiful water. TV has many channels. Very nice amenities in room.

Intimate Hotel right on cozy beachPosted Mar 22, 2015
Pros: Small size, friendly maid staff and its location on the beautiful beach.
Cons: Price lowered to be more in line with age of rooms.
Location: On the beach, close to good restaurants.
Siboney is a small Hotel with it's own unique charm right at the beach with a nice restaurant overlooking the turquoise blue water and the golden sand. The maids of the Hotel were extremely friendly and helpful but the restaurant staff struggled to smile. The rooms where very clean but for its price I expected them to be more up to date. We did like the small kitchenette that was sufficient for making a nice breakfast. Our unit did not have windows in the living room and one of the two balcony access areas had a mosquito net taped to the outside wall with black duck tape. The bed room however had real windows with real screens. For the price we paid, I did not expect to find a window air conditioning unit in the bedroom, I expec something more modern. It was nice to run into the owner of the hotel on a few occasions and chat with him about the hotel and things to see and do on the island. In summary, it was nice, clean and quiet and we would return, especially if the price was a bit lower.

A Very Friendly Place to StayPosted Mar 20, 2015
Pros: Very friendly, accommodating, attentive staff. The pool area felt like a private retreat.
Cons: I like this place as is.
Location: I did not venture out other than to walk along the beach.
This hotel was ideal for the quiet rest & relaxation trip I planned. I laid out by the beach and the pool. Both provided the serenity I needed to read, write, reflect, and meditate especially the pool area. The room is a small one bedroom apartment spacious enough to relax in the bedroom, living room, or terrace. I am looking forward to returning for a longer stay.

Awesome place. Right by the BEACH. Breakfast by the beach. (The only negative is the wifi connection.)

Pleasant stayPosted Jan 3, 2015
Beach immediately in front is very small but one has the option of walking along that corridor for many more options. The pool here is a joke so we never used it.

It was fine.Posted Dec 21, 2014
Pros: Location and staff
Cons: Stock the kitchen with necessary things. Do something to prevent the mosquitos from getting in the room. Bigger TV
Got this as a package deal. We arrived after dark....the driveway to the hotel is a pot-holed dirt/sand road and the parking lot is the same. We thought it must have been the staff entrance or delivery entrance...we were looking for something paved...so not typical. Once we found the office, they were very nice and accommodating....absolutely no issues with the owner or staff. The room itself was a suite. It was furnished nice...just seemed a little small. The TV was small.....I like sports and would like to have had a larger TV. The kitchenette lacked some essentials like dishrags, dish soap, and spatula. There was no sugar or creamer for the coffee. My wife saw one roach the first night but that was all....so not a problem. We had a second floor balcony and the door to the balcony was just shutters.....so there was really no way to prevent mosquitos from entering the room at night. This was okay for the first 2 days but on the last morning there.....there must have been 30 mosquitos in the bathroom alone. The bed and pillows were fine and my wife loved sleeping under the mosquito net which turned out to be a good thing because it was needed. There is an AC unit in the bedroom and it worked well. The hotel is in a beautiful location and the associated restaurant is good as well.

Kleines angenehmes StrandhotelPosted Nov 27, 2014 on Hotels

Very convenient small hotelPosted Nov 25, 2014
We stayed at Siboney for two nights only at the end of our holiday in Antigua and truly enjoyed the time there, primarily due to its convenient location just on the beach and the cosy facilities. The hotel rooms are not super spacious but were just the right size for two. The hotel has its own allocated portion of the beach (although it is open to everyone) and is next to the famous Sandals and some other resorts, as well as right next to a long 'deserted' beach, i.e. without hotels along the coast - so great for an evening stroll or running. It also has a nice bar/restaurant on the beach with decent food and nice cocktails. Staff is very friendly too! Oh, and they have a small outdoors pool in the yard which was a nice addition to the great sea. Overall, had a great time and would recommend for a quiet holiday.
