The room was filthy. The bed had visible dirt in it. It smelled terrible. The smoke alarm was torn off the ceiling. Bare wires hanging out. Bathroom was dirty as well.

The attendant for breakfast was very accommodating and friendly. We ask for a downstairs room but was given an upstairs room. There was no elevator and I had recently had knee surgery and this was not pleasant. all of the rooms upstairs doors were unlocked which we thought was very odd.The pool was out of order, two large compressors were sitting in the doorway.

Very dirty, dirty sheets. Was laying down and found a roach crawling up the wall. Then another on the bedside table I took pictures and video told the front desk I wanted some sort of refund and nothing was done. He told me to come back in. YEAH NO NOT AFTER YOU HAVE A FAMILY OF ROACHES

Unfortunately there is very little that we liked about our stay. The building is in much need of cleaning and repair. I have pictures of some of the issues. The security lock on the outside entrance was totally broken, the halls were dirty, there was trash in the hall, screens on the back units are torn, and the trash containers around the building inside and outside were full. We left 15 minutes before the morning breakfast, and there was no sign that the breakfast was even being readied. The person in charge was nowhere to be seen, My husband said that when he went down near the check in the person was sleeping. We will never stay at a Days Inn by Wyndham again. We were about to ask to leave and go somewhere else but we were so exhausted we overlooked all the issues. Also the noise from upstairs was loud. Horrible experience. Wish I could attach my pictures to this review.

When we arrived, the staff was very brusque with us. Additionally, the pool was down, there was no hot water in our room, and the bathroom door wouldn't shut. The breakfast was cold and made me sick, and the hotel overall just felt very run down. The bed was pretty comfortable, though.

Dust ruffle on bed was not put on properly. Blanket/bedspread was worn and ragged. They had a large selection for breakfast. I chose the muffins. I think they had been around for awhile as the were very dry. The bananas were way over ripe, one was rotten. Overpriced for what you get.

Decent stop on the way home
This was a very friendly hotel with good breakfast options. The furnishings are old and the outside grounds could use some TLC, but it was very adequate. The mini fridge was excellent with a freezer section that worked. The shower was good. We will likely stay here again.

The advertised pool was not open and not disclosed. Even with requested housekeeping was not acceptable. The breakfast provided was not good (old). I will say that it wasn't the worst place I've ever stayed but it did not live up to my expectations.

I am sorry to hear that we did not meet your expectations. Yes our pool is closed and we have done our best to let every avenue of booking know of this closure. Housekeeping is done every other with Wyndham properties going green unless requested everyday, any issues you had will be looked into and corrected. As for the breakfast that is not typical and will be looked into and corrected as needed.

People at the front desk was very pleasant, but the room was not clean, there was a coffeemaker with coffee packs but no cups or glasses in room. We talked to the front desk in morning and told them about the cup and glasses situation and her comment was that she couldn’t get them from her supplier. Also, not a extra roll of toilet paper in bathroom as we had to use Kleenex. The sheets on the beds were like tissue paper.I wouldn’t stay there again.

I was surprised as to how well I did sleep there. :) However I do not know what their procedures are for over night guests but when we left out Saturday morning we fully expected the dirty towels to be picked up and the beds made. When we returned that afternoon the towels were still there and the beds were unmade. When I called and asked for fresh towels I was informed that they did not have any clean towels to give. Again, the over all stay was nice we were able to sleep and shower with no issue. We were just surprised that they didn't have enough towels to give us more clean towels and the dirty towels were still in our room and the beds went unmade.

Not so good. Will not be staying at a Days Inn again. I think your morning desk staff needs help. The bed was hard as were the pillows. Shower/tub was broken and not clean.

There was one person tending to every guest in the hotel. There were renovations and the elevator was broken. My toilet had not been cleaned. The outside area for dogs was great.

There was no coffee maker in the room, no laundry bag. Went to breakfast and two coffee pots were empty and eggs were gone. Several supplies were low and people were still arriving for breakfast. Hotel was sold out. Desk clerk was also responsible for breakfast and should have had help

The rooms and halls had clearly been painted and carpets replaced recently, but there was much broken brick on one section of the building exterior, a tattered sign saying that the swimming pool was not functioning, and a crumbling asphalt lane to the place from the street. However, the rooms were quiet and the area seemed safe, so the place was proper when the price was considered.

Not a good quality by this price. The room was not clean. The door key chain was broken. The coffee maker had its bag used by the previous guest was not cleaned. Only the good thing is that it was quiet enough to sleep.

The pool was down for renovation, but there was nothing about that when i booked the hotel, and that is why I chose it over others. Also, when i got there, they told me they didnt have a room for me, even with a reservation. It was because the cleaning person didnt clean the rolm fullt, and the manager had to reclean it. The manager was the only staff that was good. The room wasnt the cleanest, but we were able to sleep for the night.

Something has changed…
This has been our go-to hotel in Cameron for years; compared to the options, its always rated higher. This time, however, we noticed the facility has really started to decline. The trim around the office door has pulled partially off and has nails protruding, presenting a hazard to guests and employees. In our room, the smoke detector fell off the ceiling onto the bed during the night and the bathroom light fixture was missing the frame that kept it secure, so it was sort of just hanging there. The sink faucet sprayed water onto the counter, and most concerning, there may have been bugs in the bed — I felt at least two “bites” shortly after getting into bed. In the morning, I had red, raised welts in those same areas. While all of these problems are concerning, we will likely stay here again to see if it was just a random occurrence or symptomatic of a general overall decline. Our continued patronage will depend on what we find during our next stay planned for Sept.

it was not good at all. we will not stay there again nor will we recommend it. it desperately needs a lot of help. The only thing we can say good about it is the lady that was working the desk the next was very polite.

This was the worst hotel I've stayed at, worldwide. I would have left if my family was was traveling with me. The bed was made and the bathroom had clean towels, but that was it. The fridge was dirty, crumbs on the floor and counters. While taking a shower, i noticed all types of hair on the shower walls, like they wiped it down with a dirty rag to clean it.
