“Wow !!....a Romantic Paradise”

Stayed here for just 1-night but what an excellent choice for anyone wishing to get away from the generic "romantic" hotels/resorts. Perfect for young couples, honeymooners...a place where the room and surroundings make you feel one with nature and lovers can truly reconnect...

“Unspoiled, authentic, relaxing, amazingly beautiful: the ultimate disconnect !”

Ideal place to stay if you want to avoid the tourist crowd. Even for just a few days, I felt SO far away from the real life: it was the ultimate disconnect! And the staff is here to pamper in such a nice and sincere manner. Also loved the massage I got on the patio overlooking the ocean! I will go back to the Sea-U Guest House for sure, without hesitation.

“Beautiful and relaxing”

The Sea-U Guest House is a wonderful place to relax and really enjoy the scenery. There are hammocks set up everywhere so you can look out over the ocean, read a book or take a nap. There are no tv's, radios or phones and it is very quiet at night - it is a perfect place for couples who want a relaxing and peaceful environment.

Sea U is just wonderful! Everything is perfect: rooms are so comfortable, staff very friendly and helpful, the view is fantastic and the atmosphere is relaxing. We felt very welcome. We have never been so happy and satisfied with a hotel service before. We strongly recommend this place. We are looking forward to going back soon!

“Lovely stay!”

This is the most amazing guesthouse! It's so peaceful and beautiful, one of the nicest places we've ever stayed. The house itself is beautiful in a colonial-style and the dinners were delicious! The style is homecooked, Caribbean food. Each the staff was fantastic. If you want total relaxation in stunning surroundings with great food, I can't think of anywhere better! I'd love to go back.

“Solitary surfer”

The staff are wonderful people and the whole experience was like being with family. This is a very quiet peaceful place and everyone is respectful of the needs of the guests. For visitors looking for this type of experience (low-key and non-touristy) - Sea-U is a find. The surfing was fantastic as well and not crowded!

“Something different on a beautiful island”

Bathsheba is a really beautiful spot, and Sea-U must be one of the best hotels in town (although with it being so small, there isn't much choice!) The rooms are basic but clean and comfy, and the staff, especially Sea Cat, are brilliant. You can arrange for him to accompany you on a snorkelling trip, or for a hike to Bath beach along the coast. We had dinner at the hotel a couple of times - both times delicious, and it was great to meet fellow travellers. There is an honour bar in operation too when the staff have gone home, which was handy - the rum punch is recommended! Just a couple of minor things on the down side - as breakfast was not included in our Expedia rate, that turned out to be quite expensive for what was on offer as we had to pay for a full breakfast buffet and couldn't just order individual items from the menu. However, there is a small kitchen in the room so most mornings we made do with items bought from the supermarket. Also, we did find a cockroach in the bathroom - but hey, that's life in the tropics I guess!

“Just Lovely”

The hammocks here have become my personal happy place! Wonderful family style dinners help you meet other travelers and the staff. Overall, a charming, well kept hotel that we will come back to again and again. Only downside is that we were told the breakfast buffet (mostly just toast and coffee) was complimentary, but it turned out to be $9 per person. A surprise that added up at checkout time!
