In short the desk attendant was rude on arrival. There were hairs on the towels and in the shower drain. There are no elevators to the rooms and it was like a maze finding our room. Spend a few dollars more and stay somewhere nicer. There is nothing worse than feeling like you've wasted hard earned money.

Worst place that I have ever stayed

Pros: The shuttle service was nice and on time; however there were too many people and not everyone made it on the first shuttle. We made it.
Cons: Everything needs to be improved. But most of all, clean the place. That is what is most important to everyone. Clean the rooms and hallways!
Location: Location is good to get to the airport.
I travel a lot and even the lower priced hotels that I have stayed at have been much better than this place. When we got there, it seemed like it would be okay, although the hallways stink and are not air condidtioned. The hotel living spaces should be kept up like the lobby. The staff was nice when we got there, the girl in the morning was rude (not even a hello) We went to our room, which appeard nice enough for what we paid. When we went to turn down the bed, we saw a dollar bill and some change up by the pillows. Moved it and saw a big stain. It was apparent that the previous people left it there to show housekeeping the stain and also apparent that house keeping never changed the sheets between customers. We were moved to another room where it smelled even more moldy than the hallways. The floor in front of the AC unit was wet and the TV did not work (no signal). The desk clerk came to the room and told us to wait about 20 minutes to see if it comes back on. It did not so we went to the desk again and he gave us another room. With the third room, you could tell the door had been kicked in before (all cracked and repaired on the sides) and the housecleaning cart with dirty sheets was left right in front of our door, with no housekeeping any where around. Also dirty pile of sheets were in the stairway when walking to our room. The room itself was okay but overall just felt old and dirty. All the hallways have dirty walls and doors too.

Nice size hotel with disappointing service

Cons: The cleaning staff actually cleaning the rooms daily
They did not clean our room on the 3rd day, and when going to the front desk to speak to the manager they were not aware of it and told me that they would contact me with an explanation -- that never happened. They had 2 bath towels to give me with no hand or face towels -- or extra toilet tissue. The flooring in the hallway was not glued down properly and it made it a little hazardous to walk with my cane. Restaurant wasn't associated with the hotel so no meals could be charged to the rooms or have room service.

Reasonable price near airport

Very close to Detroit airport and major highway connections. Van service to/from airport and other nearby needs (car rental). Tram to downtown Detroit available from airport, and van will provide rides whenever needed. Good free breakfast (eggs, sausage, bisquits, gravy, toast, waffles, etc.) Dining room and lounge, plus fancier Indian restaurant on premises. Outdoor pool. Quiet AC. Rooms good size and clean, though hallways a bit worn.

Don't stay here

room wasn't cleaned; the bathroom was especially gross. Went to call front desk and phone didn't work. Only one small lamp worked so no real light at night.

One night stay

Pros: Personal was very pleasant
Cons: Carpet, air to work better
rooms were in need of remodel. Bed was comfortable. Air did not work very well. Appliances needed updateing. It was ok for 1 night stay however would not have stayed there a 2nd night. There was a lot of noise till around 2:30 in morning . Very hard to sleep.

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Cleanliness. Update pictures on website to provide an accurate appearance of hotel and rooms.
The hotel is nothing like the pictures. It's dirty and outdated. Staff is not helpful. The food at the bistro and continental breakfast was horrible. Don't waste your time and money!

Pros: It was clean and had airport transportation.
Cons: It needs an elevator that guests are allowed to use. My room was poorly maintained (burned out lights and AC not working).
Location: It's near the St Louis airport and has free transportation to the airport.
The room was clean and the bed was comfortable enough. I was very surprised to see that there was not an elevator that guests could use. There was an elevator with a sign saying only people going to the banquet room could use it. Good thing I travel with a small suitcase, since I had to carry my stuff up the stairs. Some of the lights in my room were not working either. I had to prop the door open have enough light to turn on a lamp across the room. And my AC was not working well either. It was running but not cooling much. There was a buffet breakfast and it was a carbohydrate paradise. They have a van for airport transportation, but it gets very crowded and some people have to wait for a 2nd or 3rd round but I think everyone managed to make it on time. It's good to allow extra time for this when you sign up for the van.

Multiple calls for ride to hotel. Thin walls, long walk from lobby to room. OK for the price, nothing special.
