Great water/shower pressure, close to airport

While the hotel was close to the airport and I wasn't expecting a five-star hotel, there were several disappointing elements to our stay. The first two nights, there was a cricket in the room that kept us awake much of the evening; when brought to the staff's attention, there was no apology for the inconvenience, though when another room was requested (on a holiday weekend), one was provided. For the most part, the hotel staff was amenable and accommodating. The pool was wonderful -- clean and well kept. A truly unfortunate part of the stay was that the cook didn't show up for four out of five nights we were there. These things can happen -- certainly -- and it wouldn't have been an unfortunate situation, except that the last night, I didn't have a car at my disposal and was planning to get food from the hotel bistro (I ordered a pizza instead since the bistro and bar were closed). The shuttle driver was very accommodating given the situation, but it was a lot of extra hassle for something that was expected. The shuttle drivers were very friendly and helpful. Overall, not an awful experience, but it could've been better. By far, the best part of the stay was the water pressure in the shower (amazing!) and the beautiful pool.

hotel is in a great location close to the airport and love the fact that they had shuttle to the airport didn't have to drive downtown to enjoy downtown St Louis we took the Metrolink

Pros: Breakfast
Location: Nothing within walking distance.
Maybe we just went on a bad week, but there were some unsavory characters in the room next to us who were very loud and obnoxious late into the night. Also, the signs everywhere regarding your car safety made us feel like there have been break-ins. Location is super close to airport, maybe too close and away from restaurants within walking distance. This is a 2 star hotel.

Staff were friendly. When we got to our room the bathroom light went out the second we turned it on, within 5 minutes of calling the front desk, maintenance arrived & fixed it. Our room was clean, but a little outdated. Very quiet considering it's so close to the airport. For the price, it was a decent stay.

Airport Shuttle and Parking

Pros: Airport shuttle, parking and proximity to highway connections.
Cons: Staff were a bit grumpy.
Location: We used it primarily for shuttle access and parking.
The airport shuttle schedule starting at 4 a.m. fit our schedule. The parking arrangements were also good for a two week plus trip. The room and cafe were pluses.

Pros: The breakfast was free and filling.
Cons: The hotel is not bright and inviting.
Location: Close to downtown Missouri.
Nothing outstanding. Would not recommend this hotel.

Not what I expected with the high eating

Hard to find. The address on line is not correct. Called hotel and they gave me a different address for the GPS. Night staff very nice and helpful. Day staff rude and uncaring. Checked in and fire alarm kept beeping, they changed our room. We got in new room and heard washing machine at 10:30pm. At 3:30am washing machine woke us up. Then again at 5:34. No rest, not happy. They treated it as nothing happened
