“Country Inn St Charles”

I've stayed at a number of Country Inns through-out the country. All of them have top level service, clean rooms, and convenient locations. Country Inn at St Charles is no different. Just a few miles from St Louis airport in a quiet setting near the Missouri River. Make sure you have good directions or GPS as it is slightly difficult to find.

“A step back in time.....”

Great location in historic St. Charles! Close to shopping, restaurants, casino. Front desk staff was very accommodating, even called our room later to make sure everything was ok. Will definitely recommend to others and will hopefully stay here again in the future!

“Great choice”

I booked this hotel for a recent business trip. I was very satisfied with the service overall. The hotel was clean, wellmaintained, and efficient.hotel room bathroom need exhaust fans and there needs to be more parking though.the breakfast service was fantastic!!! They always had a staff member cleaning and restocking the food. I would stay here again.

“Family-friendly and great location”

This hotel was very near the Ameristar Casino and I was wondering a little how family-friendly the area would be, but it was. No problems at all. My family enjoyed the breakfasts and the pool. For any runners reading this, the hotel is right off of the Katy Trail--a Missouri State Park crushed gravel path. Nice run viewing the Missouri River and Downtown St. Charles.

Area recommendations

If you have kids, it is a must to visit the City Museum in downtown St. Louis. It has got to be one of the best city attractions (certainly most original) anywhere!

“Griffin/Murphy Wedding”

Wonderful hotel, my guests enjoyed walking to old saint charles and shopping during the day before the wedding. We enjoyed having breakfast together in the breakfast room. It was a wonderful experience.

If your coming to Saint Charles, Missouri - this is the closest hotel to old saint charles and I would recommend it for the experience.

“Flew out for a surprise party...”

... and stayed at the Country Inn and Suites by Carlson in St. Charles, MO. The hotel was SO convenient, to the highway, to the downtown shopping area/historical/antique district, to the Ameristar Casino. Everything was clearly marked, the staff at the hotel was awesome - great restaurant recommendations, so friendly... I felt safe even though I was traveling alone, at the hotel, in the parking garage, in the hotel. The complimentary FULL breakfast was a nice treat, too...

Area recommendations

For sure I'd recommend wandering around the historical downtown St. Charles shopping area. And although I missed the riverfront activities, apparently there are some festivals they run right along the river that look like they might be loads of fun!

“Perfect location”

Great location,safe, very clean, close to so much! Great staff and service very good breakfast. Affordable! You will not be disappointed!

Don't miss Main Street (Old St. Charles) many shops and great restaurants along the strip. Good little wineries and pubs. Boschert town for fun activities.

“Great place to stay”

The staff was helpful in pointing out places to shop and eat, providing us with maps and sample menus. The motel was very clean, the beds were comfortable and the hot breakfast was delicious. It is within walking distance of historic Main Street where many shops and restaurants are located. I would defintely stay there again.
