Close location to downtown but not a huge hotel, which we prefer. Only thing we didn't like is that they didn't have complimentary breakfast, otherwise a pleasant stay.

Odd smells in rooms

Staff was very friendly. However, we requested rooms next to each other and our rooms were far apart on the same floor. Our main concern was the musty smell in the room, the very light cleaning of the room during our stay, and the inability to remove the humidity from the room with the climate control. We would have expected more for the price we paid.

Pros: We have stayed at this hotel often and the staff is always welcoming and cheerful.
Cons: The cost has continued to increase and is too high, especially since there was no breakfast included.
Close to SLU, very convenient when visiting our daughter.

GREAT HOTEL

THE STAFF WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. THEY WERE ALSO QUICK WITH EACH REQUEST WE HAD. THE HOTEL WAS VERY NICE AND CLEAN. LOVE THE LOCATION CLOSE ENOUGH TO DOWNTOWN TO ENJOY BUT FAR ENOUGH AWAY TO GET A GOOD NIGHT SLEEP.

Quality hotel for a good price and location

Needed a one night stay for a Cardinals game; this hotel was very nice and affordable. It was not the closest to Busch Stadium, but it was also not $400 like the hotels right next to the stadium. I would highly recommend this hotel!

Definitely Stay Here

Very clean and VERY QUIET room. Very close parking which helped my husband on crutches. First-floor access to courtyard was convenient for boys to toss a football. Clean pool. Five minutes to everything downtown including City Museum, Gateway Arch, Ball Park Village. Ten minutes from St. Louis Zoo. Surprised at how awesome this was. We're from Michigan and were afraid it would be like downtown Detroit. Couldn't have felt safer.

Nice clean friendly hotel

We chose the hotel because of the free parking. It is a bit out of the downtown area--not too much though. And a lot of the activities are outside the downtown area anyways--such as the zoo, botanical gardens, the Hill etc. You could still walk to the ball field, restaurants etc unless you have small children with you. We just drove the few blocks in, and parked the car in a $5/day parking garage.
