Close to the ballpark and the Arch.

Posted Aug 17, 2014
Pros: It is close to the ballpark and the Arch.
Cons: Overall cleanliness and appearance--parking terrace, hallways, etc. There were no vending machines and no bakeries or eateries nearby.
We were able to walk to the ballpark from the hotel. The Arch was right outside our window. There was no place to buy a snack or soft drink. The hallways and the parking terrace were dingy and run-down.

Nice big room but tiny bathroom

Posted Aug 11, 2014
Pros: Big main room nice and clean
Cons: better service....desk takes a long time to answer phone.
Location: Right near Rams and cardinals, the famous courthouse and the arch. Take the helicopter ride if you can.
My son and I stayed for 2 nights (saw a football and baseball game....sweet). The room itself was great but we had to call for towels the first night as there were none at all. Then we had to call for towels the next night since the housekeeping staff didn't give us any bath towels for the next day either. Getting the car from valet was a chore especially at night. I recommend you save $10 a night and self park there. All in all it was a nice room with comfy beds for a hotel. I recommend you stay here and park your own car....

There were holes in a few of our bath towels. You have NO control over the temperature in your room so we all slept in clothes. Self parking was overall easy and safe. It took 45 minutes to get a roll of toilet paper, you cannot just go to front desk to get it.

Nice downtown hotel

Posted Aug 10, 2014
Hotel was clean, room was spacious. Staff was attentive to needs. Bathroom was small but that's the only issue with the room. Overall very nice, in walking distance to a lot of downtown events.

STRIKE 4

Posted Aug 7, 2014
Pros: Location to Busch
Cons: More staff.
#1 Waited in line 35 minutes to check in. #2 My room was not ready after waitng 35 minutes so I had to wait 30 more minutes to check in. #3 I called for bedding for the pull out couch at 10:22 P.M. and THREE calls later at 11:35 the bedding showed up. #4 The next morning I realized we only had two bath towels in the bathroom. Did not even attempt to call for a third. I did not want to wait another 45 minutes. The staff was very friendly though. Vernon at the front desk was very polite. The rooms are out dated. Our shower head was pulled away from the tile wall. I could not find a way to control the temp. in our room.

Hotel has potential but lacks any customer service

Posted Aug 6, 2014
Would not recommend this hotel. Trash outside of the front valet area every day including chewed chicken wings scattered in the entry, boxes of takeout along the front window. Although there are six elevators servicing the floors, had to wait on several occasions to get an available one to the point that we would use the stairs (10 stories) to get to the lobby. Told front desk that our bathroom hairdryer did not work and nothing was done by the time we checked out three nights later. Bathrooms are extremely small; good luck having more than one person at a time in there. Any time we interacted with a hotel employee, it almost seemed like they really didn't care.

Awful hotel downtown St. Louis

Posted Aug 4, 2014
Pros: Not much
Cons: The cleanliness!
Location: St. Louis Cardinals and the City Museum
We stayed for 3 nights and it was awful. The hotel was extremely dirty. The elevators were slow. I would never stay there again and would not recommend to anyone.

So so

The hotel is a bit run down compared to the others we have stayed at downtown. Only 1 out of the 3 vanity lights worked, the windows were filthy, the room was outdated and dingy and the elevators were extremely slow. We walked down 10 flights of stairs because the wait was so long. Upside: Parking was convenient next to the hotel and they let us check in an hour early. Will not stay here again. I'll pay a little extra next time.
