No Water. Pathetic Customer Service

Pros: Checking out.
Cons: Customer Service.
Upon arrival we were notifed that the water would be turned off from 1 AM - 1PM on the day of our departure. We told the desk clerk that we would not be staying the last night. She advised us to call Expedia as we had prepaid. When the Expedia rep would call the front desk to confirm, the front desk clerk would hang up on them. This happened repeatedly. I finally went to the front desk with an Expedia rep on the line on my cell phone and she refused to "touch my personal phone" to confirm the situation. Worst Customer Service I have ever experienced.

staff and wifi terrible

checking in was terrible! not only was the wait 30 min long, but when they actually checked us in. I had to wait a further 20 min for someone to go to the computer in the back room and input my room numbers in their system, or so i was told by check in staff. what kind of system was that. After checking in that night and getting our room numbers. Later that night we had a hotel employee come into our room, not realising that our room had been checked in to already??? What is the deal with that, how can a staff employee not know the room was occupied even though it took an substantial amount of time to check in. On top of that the way the parking charges were discribe is not what showed up on my bill.And my coworked and i shared a one car hence one car one parking spot need. We both were charge for parking upon check out, which granted i complained and got my charge reversed but still unorganised. The hotel claims to offer free wifi however it never worked and never connected when i pointed this out they sent a "technician" to my room and even he couldnt get the wifi or the wired connection to work and i was then told to call a help line to sort this out and even then this was not working. As a business traveller i needed access to the internet. nothing further was done by the hotel when the wifi problem was NOT resolved. When i called for confirmation of shuttle time the phone was answer with a "What?" and very unfriendlly manner.

Pros: Shuttle service and location close to airport
Cons: Wi-Fi quality, Front Desk staff not very accommodating, Room cleanliness (filthy closet)
Not really a great experience. Wifi is terrible. Staff not very accommodating. Few issues with room cleanliness. Only good thing was the shuttle service.

Holiday Crowne Plaza Bridgeton/St. Louis

Pros: The staff were particularly helpful. We had a group of 40 staying there and they did a great job helping us with transportation and arranging food.
Location: We stayed at this location by necessity. Its a long hike to downtown St. Louis and next time we'll try to stay in the heart of St. Louis.
The hotel staff was great. The hotel is older, but it was clean and well maintained. There is a TGI Friday's on site which was convenient.

Could have been a good hotel...

I will start with the good; the bed was really comfortable, the tv was nice, the bathroom was spacious, and the furnishings seemed highend. Now for the bad; our room was in the same room as the pool, and the pool was REALLY loud all day. We tried to turn the tv up, but it still didn't overcome the noise. The coffee machine was still used from the last person that stayed. There was used soap and shampoo bottles left in the shower. Overall it was a "okay" stay

Pros: It looked pretty
Cons: The attached restaurant!!! It was horrible. Rinse the bed sheets twice, the bleach smell was way too strong.
Everything was clean and very nice. The bed smelt of bleach really bad. I didn't like the parking situation. We had to walk pretty far to get in the building then walk around to the front to get to the elevators. The TGIF that was attached to the hotel was the worst place I have ever eaten. It looked and tasted like everything was microwaved, but the waitress was nice enough to take the food off our bill.

Pros: the beds were comfortable
Cons: service
The bed was comfortable but that was the only good thing about this stay. Checked in a 5 pm Room service trays lined the halls, they were still there when we checked out at ten am. Trash cans were overflowing from the night before and were still when we checked out 10:30 am. The online advertising says there is a Keurig and frig in every room. The manager says they are on a first come basis only. The restaurant closed early and would not serve us. I would have gotten more at a Holiday Inn at half the price
