What a bargain!!

Posted Jan 27, 2015
Pros: Price, quality, service, location
Cons: Nothing I could see.
Location: Right next to Union Station, very close to downtown and only a few minutes from the blues clubs.
We were very pleased with our weekend stay. I could absolutely not find anything to complain about. The hotel had the nice appeal of a vintage hotel but was pleasantly updated. The staff was very nice and helpful. The day started of with a very nice buffet breakfast included in our stay along with free secured parking. We had a nice dip in the indoor pool and hot tub and later in the day enjoyed the complimentary happy hour appetizers and beverages. The hotel is very close to downtown which was very convenient. Overall, a very pleasant stay and a real bargain.

Our home while at SSM Cardinal Glennon.

Posted Jan 16, 2015
Pros: Old school exterior with modern comforts inside.
The staff was very helpful during our stay while our son was having heart surgery at a nearby childrens hospital. A young lady working the front desk named Augusta was an angel during our stay. I would reccomend this to any family or friends in the STL area. The parking area had key card access for that extra bit of security. The hot breakfast and dinner was just one more worry that we did not have during our stay. The food was tasty and plenty of it. BRAVO Drury Inn Union Station!!!l

Passing by on our way to Chicago

Posted Jan 3, 2015
We stayed at this hotel on our way to Chicago. From the outside, it doesn't look like much -- we got a little worried when we pulled up to the building -- but the inside is lovely. It used to be the sleeping quarters for rail road personnel and it was restored to be a hotel. The staff is super friendly, the breakfast is a hot breakfast and, at least on the night we stayed, a "tail-gate" hot dinner and 3 complimebtary adult drinks per adult were included. I don't know if the dinner and drinks are always included with the room or only on game nights (there was a hockey game that evening), but it was a nice option that included hot dogs, chili, macaroni an cheese, etc. The rooms are clean and so is their indoor pool. There are also several model train displays throughout the lobby. Parking is also included. The hotel is right next to the Train Sation and a couple of miles from the Arch. Overall a great experience; will definitely stay there again if we are in St. Louis and will recommend to friends.

Great location to the downtown attractions!

We enjoyed staying in the Drury Union Station! It was convenient to the Arch and other downtown attractions. The "extras" that don't cost extra were also appreciated!

Weekend Get-Away

Posted Dec 29, 2014
Pros: Convenient to many attractions
Cons: The bed coverings are thin. The beds should have plenty of blankets and I should be able to remove them if I don't want that many.
Location: Located near Union Station, Scotttrade Center and just a small Metrolink ride from Busch Stadium, Ballpark Village, and Lacledes Landing.
My wife and I bought tickets to come to St. Louis to see a concert on a Friday night. We decided to make a weekend of it and stay Friday and Saturday night. I have stayed in Drury Inn's before but not the one by Union Station. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the room was very nice, and for the most part, it was very quiet. The free breakfast and the evening hospitality is a great perk to the Drury chain of hotels. I would highly recommend staying here and I will be back the next time we visit downtown St. Louis.

Great hotel, highly recommend

Posted Dec 15, 2014
Pros: Location within walking distance of Scottrade Center. Off of main street so very quiet. Extremely helpful and friendly staff.
First floor rooms were quiet, as hotel has a noise policy after 10 pm. Staff was wonderful. Free parking garage just feet outside front door.
