Weekend in ST LOUIS a stay vacation.

Posted Jul 28, 2014
Pros: The food & drinks and location
Loved the hotel close to everything didn't touch the car the whole weekend. A room with a view would of made it better.

Great location

Posted Jul 28, 2014
Pros: The location was central to most attractions.
Cons: Extend the happy hour since so many people were there if you arrived close to 6:30 selections were chancy.
Location: Short walk to the Arch, the Landing, Ball Park Village and the Stadium. Short drive to the Hill, Union Station and other area attractions.
This hotel was in a central location within walking distance to many main attractions (the Arch, the landing, Ball Park Village, the Stadium etc). They also have a station for carriage rides setup within a block of the front door-this was an enjoyable time. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. They have a party hour, although you need to arrive early enough to be there by 5pm to enjoy the food. You also get a ticket for three alcohol/non-alcohol drinks per person. The food consisted of things like Rigatoni, hotdogs, baked potatoes, nachos with cheese, meatballs-they change it up but is typically fast fixins. We arrived toward the end and they time it from 5p-7p and it shuts down promptly at that time. Same with the soda and popcorn, it is only complimentary from 3p-10p. They had soda machines on the floor that cost $1.50 with pepsi products, they sell them like .20 higher in the shop by the front desk. The room was nice, clean and comfy. They do still have smoking rooms at this hotel for those that smoke. The breakfast was fantastic, it was free, hot and had a variety of foods (eggs, pancakes, biscuits and gravy, oatmeal, sausage, cereal, potatoes etc). We would definitely stay here again.

Great hotel if you are going to a Cardinals game.

Posted Jul 21, 2014
Pros: The friendly staff.
Cons: Need a better way to park while you are checking in. Need an easy to find/read sign that says 'Park here for hotel while you check in'.
Location: Cardinals baseball and the new Ballpark village. You are literally a five minute walk from the ballpark!
Family friendly location for an overnight stay if you are in town for a Cardinals game. The staff was very friendly, room was clean and they had an excellent breakfast buffet. They had an event like 'happy hour' from 5:30pm - 7:00pm, where you can get 'ballpark' type food and three drinks per guest. The food was acceptable, about what you would expect for this type of event. But it got crowded very fast. I highly recommend the hotel and would stay there again.

Great staff. Walking distance to everything. Only drawback is the offsite parking, but it's nearby.

Not worth the effort.

Posted Jul 15, 2014
Pros: The location was nice.
Cons: Room cleaning, parking location.
Location: The hotel is near the St. Louis baseball stadium and the St. Louis Arch.
My family and I were excited to stay the night next to the St. Louis arch. It seemed like a convenient location to see the sights. The location was great. What wasn't great was the hotel. I paid extra to get a view of the arch from the room.... No VIEW at all. They wouldn't switch because they were fully booked, even though I called the day before to confirm the reservation. No big deal because we were going there in the morning. We got to the room and they are small! The rooms were pretty clean until we saw the dirty towels left on the back of the bathroom door. If they didn't see those, there is no telling what else was not cleaned. I would pass on Drury Hotels. Also you have to park pretty far away from the hotel, and hotel parking is $14 per night minimum.
