5 Star Facility with 1 Star Valet Service

Posted Aug 11, 2014
The only problem we had was the valet service (which was basically required due to there being no parking anywhere else except underneath the building ... and it inaccessible to the public) took about 20-25 minutes to bring our car to the front of the building when we checked out. Other than that, our stay was perfect. The rooms are amazing and very high class.

The room itself was great!

Posted Jul 28, 2014
Pros: The room was nice and larger than most.
Cons: The breakfast buffet
Parking was very expensive. The bartender during the complimentary managers reception was unable to make simple drinks such as a margarita on the rocks or a fuzzy navel and he was rude. The breakfast was less than satisfactory compared to the many other Embassy Suites we have stayed in.

Great downtown hotel in St. Louis

Posted Jul 11, 2014
Pros: Location to metro
Cons: Breakfast area needs to be dusted more frequently
Location: Great location to metro stops. Arch, art museum, history museum, zoo, science center, muny, wax museum
Excellent hotel. Close to metro which made it easy to get around the city. Made to order breakfast every morning ,evening reception with snacks and drinks. Only issue was breakfast seating area was extremely dusty. They seemed to clean it a bit ,but the areas were still caked with dust on the shelves and plastic flowers. Definitely would return to this hotel because of convenience and location. Took metro from airport.

The front desk was great, food service not so much

Posted Jun 30, 2014
Pros: Size, location, cleanliness.
Cons: Breakfast service staff.
Location: Close to everything you need downtown. No shopping however.
We loved the hotel itself. The room was huge and clean and up to date. The front of the hotel staff was super friendly and the room service staff was as well. The issue was with the food service staff. Being a business owner I would not hire anyone who did not want to work for me. It was very clear that the people serving breakfast did not like their jobs. If I was the manager of this facility I would send in secret shoppers for this facility so they could see for themselves how unfriendly and sour faced they really are.

nice hotel worth the money

Posted Jun 2, 2014
Pros: hotel staff, the free breakfast and fact it was a suite with an extra room and tv, microwave sink refrigerator and table and chairs
Cons: its a long walk from the elevator to your room if you get stuck at the end of the hallway
Location: the hotel is one block from the Edward Jones Dome, near the metro link and there are many cafes and restaurants on the street.
we booked this hotel because it is a suite only hotel which worked for us, tv in living area worked perfectly didn't need to share tv, the shower was very big and updated as was the bathroom, breakfeast buffet included, which saves a lot of money, staff was very friendly and helpful I would definitely recommend to friends.
