Nice hotel, Had minor glitches during our stayPosted Jul 29, 2014
Pros: Staff was very hospitable and Made to order Breakfast. Accommodated a family of 5 in a single room.
Cons: General Maintenance of facility.
Location: Easy highway access, was able to get to all our outing destinations easily (Zoo, Six Flags, City Museum, Arch, Grants Farm) all with 30 min.
Hotel accommodated a family of 5 in a single room, Hotel was clean, made to order breakfast was awesome. Elevators malfunctioned one night leaving a very long wait or take the stairs. 2 of 3 elevators were repaired by morning. Hot tub in the pool area did not work while we were there.

Great experience for the family. The kids loved it! The staff was great. The food was good. The shuttle service was always on time. The room was very spacious. I would definitely stay there again.

Nice hotel with great shuttle service.Posted Jul 7, 2014
Pros: The rooms are very nice - clean bathrooms !!!
Cons: The quality of the breakfast bar.
Location: Excellent location for getting to and from St. Charles. Close to metro stop.
This was our second year in a row for choosing the embassy suites convention center in St. Charles. This time we brought our whole family. I appreciated that they met my request for 2 adjoining rooms and one more close by (next door). We chose this because of the nice rooms and the shuttle service to St. Charles. There was a 'fire' alarm while we were there but feel it was handled professionally. The swimming pool area was not very clean. Dirt from the plants was on the floor. Often the food on the hot breakfast bar was not hot-actually it was cold ! We appreciated the shuttle driver telling us about parking free and catching the metro at Hanley to go to the baseball game.

Beautiful hotel with amazing amenitiesPosted Jul 1, 2014
Hotel is beautiful! Easy check in even when we arrived at the busy posted check in. Happy hour and breakfast-fantastic value ! Rooms are gorgeous and spacious and overlook the lobby! Each room has a porch light which illuminates the hotel at night. Highly recommend

Stay away!Posted Jun 24, 2014
This was hands down the worst hotel experience I have ever had. The heating/air conditioner unit broke in the middle of the night and made noises all night long, making it impossible to sleep. I would have tried moving rooms had my kids not already been asleep. When I notified the staff they informed me that there was nothing they could do since I booked through expedia. I called the manager after I left and he sent me a check for 50 dollars, which is a joke. I paid over 200 dollars for a night with NO sleep. I could forgive the broken unit and the noise and the no sleep, the poor customer service is when I find unacceptable!

Wonderful, Except the Housekeeping StaffPosted Jun 12, 2014
Pros: Breakfast was awesome! Made to order omlettes, French toast, cereal, fruit, yogurt, you name it. Coffee could be better. Had a 'vanilla' taste.
Location: Not much. The Arch. Stadium for a game.
The hotel is very nice and convenient to the Convention Center. Not much to do in downtown St. Louis, however. Lots of abandoned buildings and no shopping in the downtown area. The hotel was very nice - the staff extremely pleasant, however, the housekeeping staff needs training. My room was often left uncleaned for days. Unless you asked your sheets were not changed. Garbage was left from other guests under the furniture (found by accident when I dropped something under the bathroom sink). Despite leaving a tip for the housekeeping staff every day, my room was never cleaned fully. Never saw a vacuum. If they improve on this, the hotel would be perfect. If not, I'm afraid they may end up with little critters...as guests...ugh!

Stop over hotelPosted Jun 11, 2014
We arrived late in the evening. The only criticism i have is that the check in desk was not obvious. I walked around and finally noted a small sign directing me. The room was clean and comfortable and breakfast was good too. Staff at breakfast was very accommodating

Nice place for a family....great breakfast.Posted May 29, 2014
Pros: Extremely nice staff. Beautiful property.
Location: About a 35 minute drive to Six Flags St. Louis. Plenty of places to eat in the area.
We had a good experience, overall. The only inconvenience was that there were no face towels in our room when we checked in. We called the front desk and requested towels, left for dinner and a movie, but when we returned 4 hours later the towels had not been delivered to our room. We also requested that long strands of hair be cleaned up from the bathroom floor before we left; the hair had not been cleaned when we returned either. However, for our the late night front desk staff member discounted our room rate to compensate for our inconvenience.

Hotel ExcellencePosted May 27, 2014
Pros: Room size, cleanliness, breakfast, cost and staff professionalism.
Cons: hotel parking was difficult you have to checkin first to get a key to the hotel reserved parking.
Location: Great proximatity to the airport; our primary concern.
Fabulous unique hotel property with a great open spacious atrium feel with LARGE rooms, exceedingly clean and organized and a fabulous breakfast. Great staff that really takes care of the guests.
