Great value; no problemsPosted Nov 3, 2014
I was pleasantly surprised about the First Western. My room was clean, it didn't have any strange smells or odors, and the king-size bed was VERY comfortable (no squeaking, no 'valleys' in the bed). I liked my room so much that I immediately booked it for another upcoming stay. Great value for the very reasonable price!

Stay somewhere else.Posted Nov 3, 2014
Cons: Motel condition at all.
We were driving for 17 hours, stopped by to get some rest but we got a bugs in a bed, uncomfortable room and a lot of noise all night and all morning because of the paper walls. Don't recommend to any one from my experience. Stayed in a lot of motels and hotels. This one was the level of 15 $ hostel.

Nice big rooms very spacious and nice , comfy bedsPosted Oct 30, 2014
Doesn't really look like a hotel room , it's spacious with a full size fridge and small living room in the front and a huge comfy bed , would stay again.

Not bad, not good. Looks dreadful from the outside, inside is livable and unremarkable. Reasonably clean. Breakfast was a joke.

More cleaning would make it a good deal.Posted Oct 4, 2014
Pros: "Full refrigerator and microwave.
Location: Location is close to downtown St. Louise
the hotel would be a good deal if the walls were clean and dusted. The beds appeared to be clean and were comfortable. The full refrigerator was nice, but you could see that the tv was dusty.

I WAS ACTUALLY SHOCKED BUT AFTER I GOT IN MY ROOM I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH THE ACCOMMODATIONS. I KNOW MY FAMILY WOULD OF LOVED TO HAVE HAD A POOL BUT SOMETIMES THAT JUST DON'T HAPPEN. ALSO, I WAS SHOCKED THAT THERE WAS NOT A COFFEE POT MAKER IN THE ROOM. THAT IS A MUST!! OTHER THAN THEM FEW MINOR HICCUPS THE ROOM WAS GREAT.

Our stay was absolutely horrible. When we checked in the bathroom in our room smelled like raw sewage and the TV was blurry and we couldn't really see what was on. We were moved to a different room after complaining of the smell only to find the new smelled smelled of spilled alcohol on the floor (still particially damp) and sweat. Needless to say we will sleep in our car before we ever stay here again

The Room was great. i had a full size fridge and a small couch in the entry way. The town seemed pretty charming, but it was still close enough to the city that i could sightsee. the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. the appearance from the outside was totally misleading. i would definately stay there again.

I wouldn't stay with my kids here, this is more for I'm going to party and nobody is going to care.
