Nice place near attractions

Posted Jul 24, 2014
We had a great 2 night stay at Hampton Inn and Suites. We stayed in the two Queen beds with a kitchen area (mini fridge, microwave and sink.) It was quiet, clean and the staff was super friendly. The free breakfast was great! Lots to choose from. If we come back to STL, this will be our go-to hotel. :-)

Great location to "Hill" and Forest Park.

Posted Jul 21, 2014
Pros: Newer hotel and breakfast a plus.
Cons: No
Location: Forest Park, the "Hill , Botanical Gardens, Washington Unniversity.
Hotel in general was very clean and new. Our room had a slight ant problem but reported to desk and they thanked us and compensated us accordingly. It was great location near "Hill" and Forest Park. Nice to be out of downtown.

Okay For Those Who Prefer the Stairs

The elevator was non-functional, and the hotel staff was unapologetic. You might want to consider another hotel.

Booked multiple rooms through Expedia and unfortunately were placed on three different floors. Hotel staff was able to get us closer together, took some time and comvincing. Hotel itself was far above expectations. Large rooms and very clean. Will stay again!

Pros: Clean spacious rooms, and good location
Cons: Nothing
Location: Opposite Forest Park which include St Louis Zoo (Free entrance), Worlds Fair Pavillion, History museum, and many more activities.
Great location right opposite Forest Park, plenty of parking at the hotel. The check in staff were friendly and helpful. Room was large, comfortable and clean. The breakfast was good. Couldn't fault it.

Great service, great amenities

Posted Apr 12, 2014
Pros: Very efficient, cheerful, clean, comfortable, modern.
Cons: Pool temperature could be a bit lower; could have better snacks in the vending machines as there is nowhere to walk to get snack food.
Location: Zoo, and the huge free park across the street.
Almost across the street from the Zoo, and very friendly and efficient. Rooms were newly updated and in great shape. Bed was awesome. Hot tub was great, though the pool water was a little warm for me. Best is the sports bar/restaurant just outside the front doors - far enough away to be not obvious but totally convenient. Good menu selection. In the hotel the complementary breakfast was awesome - hot and cold options, lots of good seating. Went through my first tornado alert ever on the first night and staff were smooth, cheerful, but careful. Shuttle bus connects to the airport for $19.25 (*separate company but stops at this hotel among others). $6 taxi ride to U.Wash medical center. Highly recommend it.

Amazing breakfast!

Posted Apr 9, 2014
Pros: Very close to Mizzou
Cons: I had trouble getting my laptop to connect to the wifi in the hotel.
Location: Mizzou is basically located across the parking lot from the hotel. Additionally, there are several restaurants nearby including the Stadium Grill.
The complimentary breakfast at the Hampton Inn was fantastic and was hands down the best hotel breakfast that I ever had. The breakfast included western omelets, biscuits with gravy, make your own waffles, bagels, muffins, pastries, cereal, fruit, nuts, yogurt, oatmeal, hot chocolate, coffee, juice, and tea.
