WOW What a view!

Posted Jul 20, 2014
Pros: The view of the Arch. The beds were very comfortable right down to the pillows. Never had a continental breakfast like this one. So much variety.
Location: Close to Busch Stadium, the Arch, Ballpark Village and the Landing.
Friends from out of town wanted to see a Cardinal game and the Arch. I booked this room for the view of the Arch. I expected to see part of the Arch but when we opened the curtains it was all there.Wow were my friends impressed! We walked everywhere we needed to go. Close to everything. Couldn't be more pleased. The beds were comfortable right down to the pillows. The continental breakfast was superb. The variety was outstanding.

Nice hotel & close to all downtown St. Louis event

Posted Jul 20, 2014
Pros: Location, & overall good service received as guests, free breakfast in the A.M.
Cons: Maybe use other 3rd party to make reservations for us in the future!
Location: Location was downtown St. Louis, Mo. easy access to all we wanted to do i that area!
All 9 of family members arrived at same time to check in before required check-in time (3:00 p.m.), we were told our rooms were ready-all 3 rooms- Handicap style rooms, not what was booked by us! Front desk said that is what Expedia does, you get whatever is available or left over for those rates. Long story short we were able to get things worked for all to be happy, but were glad we got there early enough to make corrections to please all!! Hats off to Hampton Inn, not so sure same feelings for Expedia!!!

Enjoyed our stay!

Posted Jul 16, 2014
Location: This hotel is located so close to the arch we was able to walk to it.
We arrived to find our room ready and waiting. We had a room with a view of the arch. It was so peaceful to sit, and look out at the arch with the beautiful sky, and skyline as a backdrop. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We requested a couple extra pillows, they were brought up immediately to the room. Breakfast each morning was a nice array of choices. not just cold cereal, and such. We were given choices of scrambled eggs, potatoes, ham, doughnuts, bagels, waffles, sausage, yogurt, oats, fruit etc. Each day had us with new choices. My son spent lots of time in the swimming pool and arcade room. Overall a very nice experience. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Nice clean hotel

Posted Jul 10, 2014
Pros: Clean, staff very friendly, nice breakfast offered and close enough we could just walk where we needed to go.
Cons: Nothing it was all good.
Location: Right downtown, close to Arch and Baseball stadium
We were very pleased with our stay, hotel staff very friendly, clean rooms and good security. Lots of things close by, Arch, Busch Stadium, museum and much more. It was nice that you can be parked at hotel and just walk to several activities.

Close to Bush Stadium and downtown St.Louis

Posted Jul 8, 2014
Pros: Super great free breakfast! The Tigin Irish Pub's food and service was top notch! Wonderful Views from our room on 9th floor. Comfortable beds.
Cons: More or larger elevators at check in/out times. tee hee
Location: Cardinals games, walking to Arch, Casino, and Lacede's Landing. Easy to get to Metro/buses and get around.
Wonderful staff all around ... other travelers we visited with (at game / shopping / sight seeing) were upset they didn't have rooms at the Hampton and were disappointed with the hotels they had. Did I say great staff? Everyone was friendly and very helpful to first time visitors.

Not cold enough with no view.

Posted Jul 7, 2014
Pros: Location and cleanliness.
Cons: Fully operational air conditioner and refrigerator.
Location: Great location 1 block away from Metro station and a short walk to the casino. Hotel is on the north edge of downtown near the Laclede's Landing.
Stayed over night in downtown St. Louis for 4th of July weekend. Room was booked through Expedia and we ended up with a room adjacent to the elevator with a view through the room picture window of a wall 6 feet away from the face of the glass. Hotel desk staff was not knowledgeable about parking fees since room was booked through Expedia, but in the end I did not have to pay for parking. Room air conditioner unit and refrigerator were not as cold as they should have been. Room was clean and quiet.
