“Ants in 2 rooms”

There was a steel stairway on opposite side of the wall from the headboard of our bed and they had at least 1 bus load of teens that ran up and down stairs all night and then we had ants in our initial room moved across hall had ants in second room moved to third room only after being persistent. Was told of 100% Hampton Inn stay policy. Person at desk called manger at home and was advised no charge for entire stay. Would not consider this hotel location again!!

“Good price and nice amenities”

This hotel was exactly what we needed for a short trip to St. Louis. We were going to the Cubs/Cardinals game and needed a hotel for one night. The room was very clean and comfortable and the breakfast was great. Please note, the hotel is about a 20 minute drive to the downtown attractions but the price is worth it.

Area recommendations

Many of the attractions in St. Louis are free including the Art Museum, Zoo, and Anheuser Busch factory.

“Great place to stay in St. Louis/Westport MO”

The hotel was easy to get to off the main expressway around the city. It was very modern with several guest services right on site. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again.

“No real hot buffet!...hard to get to!”

no hot morning buffet, just powdered eggs..very hard to get to, too much construction...it took me an hour in the dark to find my turn off...I had to keep making loops on the Interstate...

“Would stay again”

Only thing was that the room didn't have a refrigerator or microwave in the room. They appeared to be newly remodeled, so it may not have been available yet. I never asked. All staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was hot and had enough variety for the price. Definately had the air of a business man's room/hotel, but there were lots of families there and they all seemed happy with the hotel as well.

Area recommendations

Maryland Heights and Chesterfield were pretty much where we spent most of our time. The museums and sites we wanted to see were located in these areas. Also, I've been in the Maryland Heights area for business before.

“Highway”

This particular location is situated near a highway. Make sure to ask for a room that does not face traffic. Also - there is nothing within walking distance except for one restaurant of the 'sports bar' variety. Despite its location - the hotel was very nice, clean and the room very comfortable as well as the workout room. I also stayed at the Doubletree Westport during this trip and I must admit, the Hampton Inn was nicer and less expensive!!

“No Surprises”

Exactly what you would expect from a well-run Hampton Inn. Everything was very adequate, and the stay was as expected. Breakfast is minimal, but enough to get you out the door. All in all, decent value.
