Nice hotel for everything downtown.

Posted Apr 21, 2014
Pros: Location and the rooftop bar.
Cons: The bathrooms. The shower ceilings were moldy.
Location: Great location for downtown. Would stay there again just so we could be that close to everything.
We had a great stay at the ballpark Hilton. We were able to walk from our hotel to a lot of downtown restaurants. The views from the room were great. The rooftop bar is a must to go to for anyone staying there. Each night we would go up there and grab drinks and look at the city skyline. We were there when the baseball team was out of town but the rooftop bar would be a great place to enjoy a game for sure. The rooms were nice. The air conditioner was kind of loud though. Also the bathrooms were a little cramped. The shower ceilings were dingy/ moldy mainly because there was no vent in the bathroom.

Close to the ball park, and the arch..

Posted Apr 20, 2014
The concierge staff was very friendly and the lobby was amazing. However the bathtub was moldy. It didn't look as though they had dusted the bathroom sink or vents in months. I am afraid to know when the last time they cleaned underneath the air conditioner which you could clearly see from our bed. The paint was cracking along the walls and ceiling. Our blanket was stained which horrified me. I wouldn't recommend it and I wouldn't stay here again. There are plenty of other hotels in the vicinity.

Disappointing.

Posted Apr 20, 2014
Pros: The location was convenient for downtown access.
Cons: Cleanliness!!
Location: Downtown location, adjacent to ballpark, close to Arch and multiple businesses.
Expected much more from previous experiences with Hilton Hotels. The bathroom floor was dirty and the Bible had mold on the back cover. Bathroom was also very small. Noise from a neighborhood business was disturbing until early morning hours. The pool was also disappointing. Parking was very inconvenient, which very strongly encourages the use of valet parking.

Pros: Clean , Great Staff very helpful, everyone for busboys, to check-in, waiters and waitress,, VERY FRIENDLY and helpful......
Cons: PUT < MICROWAVE and SMALL REF> in each room...
Location: GREAT LOCATION we could walk to everything, Bush Stadium next door, Arch just a few blocks away. 360 Restaurant on top allowed views of everything.
We arrived and the staff was wonderful came for Nerium Conference , and catch a couple of the St Louis Cards games .... wonderful view from our room BallPark Stadium , just wish we had higher room they did move us up a couple of floors which was better ... if you want to really see the came stay on the top floor ... we caught in the sights of the Arch even got to ride up in it , breath taking View... most everything was within walking distance. will definitely go back

near ball park

The cost ($340) of the room was not worth the closeness to the ball park. Our room was on the 3rd floor and it was a good thing as the wait for an elevator was 5 min or more and then you still had to wait as it was full, not enough elevators to use.We ended up using the back stairwells to get around. No refrigerator or microwave in the room for use either.

Nice location for a baseball game

Posted Apr 14, 2014
Extraordinarily expensive. Maybe prices were higher due to Cubs/Cardinal game. Was to be two queens and was two doubles , no TP for bathroom and the fan in the room was very noisy. Ok experience but definitely not worth the almost $350 once taxes and parking.

In town for Marathon

Posted Apr 7, 2014
Pros: They are responsive to their guests needs.
Cons: The in-room heating/air conditioner unit was noisy. The housing protecting it sounded like it had a loose part and it rattled when it unit came on.
Location: The Old Courthouse is right across the street. The Gateway Arch is a couple of blocks away. Busch Stadium is across the street.
My husband and I chose this hotel because it was one of the race's hotel partners, as well as its location [proximity to staging area, and downtown attractions]. We didn't see too many other runners staying at the hotel; most of their clientele seemed to be in town for business. Our room was clean, and the bathroom is smaller than most places. However, as I have found, hotels located in downtown buildings do have limited space. There aren't as many electrical outlets in the room, which can provide a challenge as most folks have their fair share of electronic devices. Wireless internet was reliable. There is an in-room safe to secure most valuables. We heard talk about challenges with the hotel's elevators. Because of the hotel's popular rooftop bar, there is a gentleman who acts a conductor for the elevators around 4 or 5 p.m. They seemed to reserve one of the cars for bar traffic only, which can pose a wait for hotel guests just trying to return to their rooms. We were actually pleasantly surprised when one of the staff offered us the service elevator, if we didn't want to wait. We took it, and got back to our room faster. Upon check-in, we had asked if it would be possible to get a late checkout, since we were both racing and were hoping to get a shower before we drove home. At first, we were told at the desk that it would not be possible since they had a high volume of folks checking in. But, they did come back to us and say we could leave at 1.

Noisy and Bad elevators

Posted Apr 7, 2014
Pros: great location, and great staff.
Cons: the elevators
Location: There are some fancy restaurants and night clubs nearby.
I could hear the party across the street every night until very late. I couldn't fall asleep. The high-tech elevators assign you to a certain car. Even if car #1 has arrived on your floor, you must wait for the car that is assigned to you, or you will not be able to go to the floor that you want to. There are no buttons inside the cars! It's all computer-controlled. You have no control and no choice but to wait for your assigned car.

Pros: location, view and services
Cons: larger bathroom. hotter water in spa
Location: right across street from Busch Stadium and walking distance to The Arch
Very friendly and courteous staff upon arrival. Received great restaurant recommendation from Bell Man. Bathroom was very small.
