“Very nice with Lot`s of old time charm . Walking dist from baseball & football feilds .”

Went for a Rams game and got to see game 7 of the world series and the rams beat the Saints . Hotel is beautiful and the staff was excellent .

“Great hotel when going to the landing!!”

The hotel was easy to location. They allowed me to park in the valet drop off as I checked in. The parking garage is right across the street making it easy to go back and forth. Out of the many Hilton hotels I have stayed in, this room was very large and gave tons of space to relax.

“Good Hotel”

Hotel was great. The morning restaurant servers and hostess were not the best at greeting or describing the buffet or menu. The evening servers were AWESOME!

“decent for the price”

The hotel is very conveniently located with parking across the street. The room condition is more updated in terms of decor and accessibility than the lobby. The lobby is dark and appeared yellowy. It really need some face lift. Bath towels were missing when we first entered the room. We called the room service to get us bath towels. It turned out one of the towel we had received with blood stain on it so we called room service again for an exchange. It was over the July 4th weekend and some hotel guests checked out around 3 am in the morning and they were talking and yelling at the corridor. I am not sure if it happens a lot at this hotel but definitely, the acoustic is not very good between the room and the corridor. Overall, it's a decent hotel for the price given that the free buffet breakfast and free wifi provided during our stay.

Area recommendations

St Charles is a beautiful town to check out.

Check out Bridge Tap House and Wine Bar at 1004 Locust St. They have great selection of beer and wine and food (cheese and bar food).

“Will deffinately go back!”

Very pleased with overall appearance, service and comfort of this hotel.

When to go

Perfect for 4th of July and Riverfront (Arch) visits. Streets are closed and parking is difficult to find, so this hotel was even MORE desireable as it provided parking as well. It is within easy walking distance of the Arch.

“Great stay at Downtown Hilton Saint Louis”

The hotel was very nice. The rooms were spacious, cool, had newer flat screen TV's, complimentary bottled water and high speed internet. The location was great. Hotel parking ($19 a day) was across the street in a secure parking lot. The hotel was truly within walking distance of Busch stadium, the arch, and the waterfront area. It was also within walking distance of the Luminer Casino (during the evening a shuttle can be called). I would stay there again.

Area recommendations

The Lacledes landing area was nice along with Bush Stadium as we watched a Cubs/Cards ballgame.
