Really Cool HotelPosted Sep 5, 2013 on Hotels.com
This place is one of the most interesting hotels I have ever seen. The renovation was stellar! The bathroom is gorgeous with the exception of the rainfall showerhead (it's nice, but it should not be the only showerhead - you can't get wet unless you are standing directly under it!). The neighborhood was a little strange - very convenient to the University and lots of seemingly empty warehouses that are being revitalized and made into lofts, etc. The room was a little small, but it never felt cramped.

Awesome boutique hotel in SLU Midtown.Posted Aug 29, 2013
Pros: Boutique artsy feel. Clean, upscale.
Cons: Fans in the bathroom.
Impeccable. From the moment I arrived until I checked out, I loved this hotel. Made me feel like a rock star!

Great Boutique Hotel, Restaurant was delicious, easily accessible. Was looking forward to the rain like shower head and didn't get it, but the hotel, staff and proximity was splendid.

nice hotelPosted Aug 13, 2013
Our stay was great at hotel Ignacio. Parking is $9 a night for self parking. Parking lot is across street from hotel and very convenient. Location is close to great restaurants and complimentary bikes were a bonus!

Very modernPosted Aug 12, 2013
Pros: Very modern
This place was great! It is a very modern hotel! The room was nice and the bed was comfy! My only complaint was there was a sandwich left in a cabinet from the previous guest!! The hotel staff was helpful and very friendly!

Beautiful hotel, cool areaPosted Jul 9, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel its modern and artsy. Across the street from St. Louis University, lots of things to do close. We went to a cardinals game and we were able to walk to the metro stop so that we didn't have to mess with parking. Thank you to the staff for the recommendation...they were all friendly! It was a great stay.

Not againPosted Jul 1, 2013 on Hotels.com
Room was quite small. Place is very old. Room view was not good. Hallway was very cold one time then very hot the next walking to the elevator.Sliding the big heavy door to the bathroom in room 507 took alot of muscle and my wife couldn't do it. We were charged more than another couple who checked in and stayed right next to us. On checkout I had to remind the young girl at the front desk that I had prepaid she still had as being due on my bill. She had to redo my bill and appeared to be annoyed at having to do it. Next time we will pony up a little more cash and stay at a hotel across from the ballpark with a real view and where it doesn't cost us roundtrip for cab fair. The restaurant was great though at the hotel. Overall my wife and I both feel it wasn't worth the money for what we got.
