“Very Impressed”
Stayed here for a Hawks game and came down a day early. The service was fantastic and very impressive. The room was very comforting and had a great view of the St. Louis area. It is in a great location and you can walk just about anywhere in the city. The Martini Lounge had great drinks at a reasonable price. I highly recommend staying here.

“Ehhh....”
The bartenders and service desk were helpful in recommending places nearby to go. Parking is across the street in a public parking deck with no security as far as i could tell and parking was $20 a day. It was quite cold during my visit; which the general public areas inside the hotel were also chilly, the heat in my room did not turn on the last night. While it had a nice restaurant at the top of the hotel with a beautiful view the rest of the hotel was quite outdated.
“Nice Place”
service is excellent, good food on site, reasonably priced
“Saints game visit”
The hotel pictures do not do it justice, Immaculate hotel, the only thing that may need an upgrade is the TV, its one of those jumbo box 19' screen old time tv. other than that great hotel
“Clean but needing renovation”
After reading the horror stories about this hotel I almost switched may reservations. But I found the hotel very clean and comfortable, although in need of renovation or at least a touch of paint here and there (I stayed in the older South Tower). It was cheaper than most of the hotels in the downtown area, and conveniently located near the ballpark and a short walk away from the Gateway Arch and other downtown attractions. I thought the food at the restaurant, Top of the Riverwalk, was bland and overpriced, however. The second night room prices went up so I moved the the Airport Marriot, which was $200 cheaper and easily accessible by the Metrolink tram from downtown.
“Not Impressed”
We were plagued with minor inconveniences on our stay at the Millennium. In our room we discovered the cover was off of the smoke detector and the towel rack was broken. We called to request service to these items and I will say the repairman was prompt, however, he placed the cover on the detector (something I could have done) and did not test to assure that it worked, he did not address the broken towel rack. The following day I went to use the blow dryer and it shot off sparks and died as I adjusted the heat setting. Again the repairman was prompt (still did not fix the towel rack) and replaced the blow dryer. The revolving restaurant was closed by 10:00 pm, I would think an exception would have been made to extend the hours since the World Series was playing across the street, upon visit the next evening we could not have a drink at the restaurants bar until an hour before close. The ice machine on our floor was also broke. On checkout I told the manager on duty of the issues with our room he offered to buy us breakfast, but when I told him we had already eaten he offered nothing more. Many other hotels in the area check them out first and stay at the Millennium as a last resort.
“Better then expected!”
I read reviews on this hotel and had a lot of anxiety about staying in it. But since it was a block from Busch Stadium it was a chance I was thought was worth taking. I took my disabled parents and the hotel provided me with 2 wheelchairs so I could easily get them to the game. The room was clean except for the floor that had so many stains, it was hard to walk on without shoes. The room did not smell from it, I think the hotel is just so busy they aren't keeping up stains like that. The beds were comfy and we slept great. A little outdated but overall clean. I am extremely picky about where I stay. Yes the rooms are small but you are in downtown St Louis, there are better things to do then hang out in a hotel room! The next morning I needed trash bags and went to the front desk to ask for them. They showed up within minutes and the front desk called to make sure we had received them. GREAT SERVICE - FRIENDLY EMPLOYEES!! I would stay again.
“Location worth going back”
Just a block from our gate at Busch stadium makes this worth staying at again. A couple of issues we faced: I reserved a room for myself and two others. We had enough coffee to only make one cup and only two bath towels.
