"Great hotel for romantic weekend getaway!"
Posted Jan 10, 2013
Pros: Shower, Eclipse Restaurant
Cons: View
Location: Great location on Delmar Loop.
Great room, romantic, breakfast in bed was fantastic. The proximity to the Pageant was way better than I imagined talk about avoiding the after concert traffic, we were back at the hotel before I normally get out of parking lots.

Great Hotel near Clayton, Wash. U., & Forest Park
Posted Jan 19, 2013
The staff is very friendly and helpful, from the valet to the front desk to the room service attendant. (You do NOT have to valet, there is generally parking available in the parking lot in the back.) The location is very convenient for people who have businesses in Clayton, visiting Wash. U., want to enjoy Forest Park, etc. The Delmar area (I guess just one main street) is full of shops, restaurants, and bars. (The gas station across the street on the corner of Skinker is a little bit sketchy though, it always has been.) The restaurant downstairs (Eclipse) is nice (only had drinks there so cannot review about the food). The bar at the rooftop is a good place to hang out, enjoy the view, and catch a game on TV. I would stay there again.

Darling hotel. The dcor and staff was great
Posted Jan 7, 2013
Cons: The only problem we had was that our housekeeper didn't come to tidy the room on Saturday until 5:30 or 6:00 pm. We wanted to get ready but couldn't.
Really liked this hotel. The location was great. I especially liked the "moon" theme which was prevalent throughout.

Great little botique hotel on Delmar Loop, good food in walking distance, and great live music. Only thing is that there is no supermarket close by. Roof top bar at happy hour was fun

Amazing!

Pros: Decor and awesome staff.
Cons: Not a biggie but towels were a little rough.
Location: Great location! We were able to go to Pi right across the street for lunch after check out.
My boyfriend and I stayed here for our 5 year anniversary. They upgraded our room for free just for that! We were really impressed by the staff and over all look and quality of the hotel. I'd say my favorite place I've ever stayed hands down. Next time we need a little get away I'll absolutely look into staying here again.

Great hotel for everyone

There aren't many "boutique" hotel choices in St. Louis, but you only need one choice and that is the Moonrise. The staff were continually helpful from checkin to checkout (including helping to de-ice my windshield after 12 inches of snow in late march)! The room was fantastic!

Great Hotel!

This was our first visit to St. Louis and Washington University. The hotel staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. Great location. I would definitely recommend this hotel. And my teenagers loved the lunar theme throughout the hotel!

Unique hotel for anyone wanting to stay in St Loui
Posted Jan 25, 2013
Pros: Modern fixtures and lighting teamed up with vintage moon related prints.
Location: Delmnar Loop seems to be an area being reinvented. Very quirky with several reasonably priced restaurants and in close proximity to many attractions.
So nice to stay in a hotel decorated in such a unique way. Modern and vintage both with lots of interesting "moon" memorabilia ranging from antique rocket toys to great stuff from the actual moon landing. The rooftop bar and lounge was under construction when we were there but we could see it's going to be really nice when finished next month. The hotel was near several good restaurants and only a short drive from the Fox theater and Forest Park. The price was reasonable and we would definately stay there again.
