In St Louis for a few daysPosted Aug 15, 2014
Pros: The friendliness and the cleanliness. It was very easy to find.
Location: There are a few restaurants near by but most of them are six or seven blocks away. The Arch, ball stadium were too far to walk for us.
My wife and I were in St Louis for a few days and wanted to stay downtown. We settled on the Omni Majestic Hotel. It was as beautiful in person as it was online. The staff was very accommodating. The location was not as close to some of the things that we wanted to do and had to drive to most of them. The parking is not that great but that can't be helped, it is downtown! We would stay there again if we were ever in town. Great place to stay!

Nice but datedPosted Aug 1, 2014
Pros: Historic charm, location.
Cons: Badly needs updating.
This was a fine hotel, in a nice location, but it felt a bit dated. The colors, fabrics, and general decor all seemed a bit old and dowdy. For example, the TV was an old-fashioned tube tv. Not a big deal, but when everything's old, it gives a certain effect. The bathroom was also underwhelming. But the view was good, the bed comfortable, and the hotel was close to a number of nice restaurants, so it was overall a decent stay even if it wasn't as nice as we'd hoped.

Location: Cardinals, Bud Brewery, Souland, Ballpark Village
Hotel staff were all very nice and accommodating. Hotel is nice for anyone going to a Cardinal game and is close to other food and beverage options.

Ommi Majestic HotelPosted Jul 18, 2014
The Omni is an older historic hotel in downtown St. Louis. Our room was very quiet. What I didn't like is we didn't have a refrigerator in our room. Even cheap discount hotels have refrigerators in every room.

We are sorry you felt we did not have many amenities. While we do not have a pool, we have a fitness center, restaurant and bar as well as room service, Wi-Fi and valet parking, among many other amenities. Thank you for the compliments to our staff. We hope if you don’t find another hotel you prefer in St. Louis that you might consider staying with us again.
