Ommi Majestic Hotel

The Omni is an older historic hotel in downtown St. Louis. Our room was very quiet. What I didn't like is we didn't have a refrigerator in our room. Even cheap discount hotels have refrigerators in every room.

From the moment I walked in to the moment I left to go home....everything was top notch. From the staff to the food I was pleased. It was clean, convenient, and very friendly. This place comes highly recommended and I will definitely stay there again.

We are sorry you felt we did not have many amenities. While we do not have a pool, we have a fitness center, restaurant and bar as well as room service, Wi-Fi and valet parking, among many other amenities. Thank you for the compliments to our staff. We hope if you don’t find another hotel you prefer in St. Louis that you might consider staying with us again.

Nice downtown hotel

Posted Jul 12, 2014
Nice hotel located in downtown St. Louis. Food in restaurant was very good. I had a bottle of root beer and soft pretzels waiting for me in my room one night - nice touch. Hotel is a little dated, but overall very clean and nice hotel. It is walking distance to Busch stadium (less than a mile).

Stay elsewhere

Posted Jul 7, 2014
Not a horrible experience but there was no lasting impression made. Most hotels I've stayed at have had a more inviting setting. Rooms a little dirty and felt old...I'm used to a friendlier staff. Also...... NO FREE PARKING...had to pay either $26 for parking at the hotel, or at least $3 for across the street parking... Would have never stayed here if I knew I had to pay for parking.

Condition of the room

The air-conditioner in our room made a banging sound all night long. The TV was a little outdated

What happened?

Posted Jun 23, 2014
I can't rate this hotel because despite my reservation, I did not have a room on arrival and the hotel was booked full. I booked through Expedia and have been assured that the mishap was a "one in a million" problem, and that it was a fault of the hotel. However, while the hotel has apologized, it has not offered me an explanation, which is the one thing I'd really like to have. I travel constantly on business across the US, Europe and even into the Middle East and this is the first time this has ever happened to me - but it's once too much. As a single woman I can't afford to arrive late in a strange town or country and not have a place to stay. What happened?

While we apologize for the issue with your reservation and are happy to help resolve any issues you have, your contact information is not provided to us when you book through a third party. We will work with Expedia to resolve the issue, but please contact them first to begin the process.

Pros: The staff.... super friendly
Cons: More sleeping pillows for the bed...Their were only two regular bed pillows for a king size bed...
Location: Location was fine...
Everything was excellent, except the TV was something out of the dark ages...come on... flat panel please (widescreen)
