“A good stay.”

The hotel is quite convenient and clean. The bar & restaurant right downstairs is a plus! The only drawback I felt is the towels are old, but they are clean, just not as comfort as the newer ones.

“pear tree”

Hotel is not in a great neighborhood. Parking is not very good. Its not really downtown which is what we were looking for. Only one entrance to the hotel. Small lobby. Hotel is dated. Will probably just stay at a red roof next time for half the price.

“Would stay here again”

Staff was excellent. Very friendly and promptly helped and answered questions we had about our stay. The room was very clean, but the beds were quite uncomfortable. The site says, "at Union Station" and the hotel was a few blocks away. Breakfast was good, and parking was convenient and free on-site. Overall a good stay.

Family-friendly activities

We visited the City Museum. It is one huge jungle gym! We spent over 7 hours climbing, crawling, and sliding and could have been there much longer!

“Great Hotel with even better price”

I was at first a little worried about the hotel due to the low rate I got, but was completely surprised and overjoyed when we actually got there. The hotel itself is in the perfect location where you are close to downtown to enjoy everything but you aren't in the center of everything. The happy hour the hotel offers is very nice and gives you a chance to really wind down from a day of traveling and the breakfast in the morning was one of the best we have had. Also, having free parking with in and out privileges made our stay a lot easier. We did spend a lot of our time in the restaurant, Syberg's, that is attached to the hotel. The food and service was amazing and the prices for food and drinks was very reasonable. The overall stay was outstanding and would definitely stay here again.

“Nice skyline view of St. Louis Downtown.”

Price is right for hotel amenities. Clean and near St. Louis Downtown. We will stay here again if ever we visit St. Louis. Pet friendly is a plus.

“What a Find!”

The staff were extremely courteous and helpful, the location is just close enough to downtown, but not too close. Parking is free and in a secure garage, and the hotel is pet friendly. When we return to St. Louis, the Pear Tree Inn is where we'll stay!

“it was a very good hotel . Staff was fun and friendly!”

We stay in St. Louis quite often, the Pear Tree Inn has become our motel of choice. The staff is friendly, rooms are clean, and it is kid friendly, too. They also offer free parking in a protected garage.

Area recommendations

We like the Galleria, the arch, Lecledes ?(sp) landing,and union station, we always have fun there! also City museum, the zoo, and Six Flags....
