Close to downtown events and stadiums.

Pretty nice hotel, very close walking distance to Edward Jones and Busch Stadium. Good customer service and nice friendly staff. The hotel is a little outdated but not to bad. Beds and sheets/towels were very clean. Room were large and spacious carpet had a few stains on the floor. I would recommend to someone wanting to save a few dollars on a room.

Outdated and dirty

Posted Jul 8, 2014
Our $200 room was spacious and the beds were comfortable, but the room was dirty and the furniture outdated and in need of repair. The sleeper sofa was ripped and extremely uncomfortable. Bottled water in the room that had already been opened. Staff was not discourteous, but provided only the minimal service to get by.

"Nice" hotel but don't think we will stay again

Posted Jul 7, 2014
Pros: The beds and sleeper sofa very comfortable.
Cons: Carpets need a good cleaning or replaced
Location: St. Louis Blues stadium, Hard Rock Cafe and Union station. Not to many restaurants within walking distance to choose from.
This was my first time using this hotel. Not really sure if I would use again just because of location. If going to a Blues game definitely use this hotel.Other wise it is quite a walk to location establishments. This is hotel is located right across from the metro link station. The hotel itself was nice as were the staff. We checked into the hotel around 5 pm and our room was not ready yet. We could of received another room immediately but they were going to put us in the block reserved for a wedding. (meet some of these guest in lobby definitely did not want to be around this group) so we chose to wait 30-45 min for another room. We were given complimentary appetizer and drink coupons to use in the bar until our room was ready. Our waitress in bar was hilarious. The room itself was not a bad room, but they need to replace carpet in living room and bathroom area. Stains EVERYWHERE. Our television in living was not working but one call to front desk and maintenance was up within 10 min. (around 10pm) to fix. Beds were very comfortable even the sofa bed. You can chose to use valet parking ($25 a day) We did not use this service and parked our self.(If you do this make sure you turn in ticket to person checking you into hotel. )Staff very friendly and knowledgeable of area and offered suggestions.

Great staff, nothing else.

Staff was excellent from front desk to wait staff. Hotel is dreary and dated. We stayed on the Club floor. While the evening appetizers were good, the breakfast was lacking. The facilities are the main problem. Everything is dated and dark. The Club lounge is just a converted hotel room so it is cramped. Our room was on the interstate side so we had interstate noise all night. The windows were not the slightest sound proof. The train tracks are also by the room, but not as loud as the traffic. Wallpaper was peeling, upholstery worn, etc. I realize we were staying when the Cards were in town and over the 4th, but for what we paid it was very disappointing. Won't stay here again.

Nice location in downtown St. Louis

Posted Jun 30, 2014
Pros: Mentioned above.
Cons: The matress. I did not sleep well that night.
Location: It was downtown and close to the new Bucsh Stadium and St. Louis Village. Nice location.
I liked the room size, the accomidations, workout room, the location, the staff, but the bed was not comfortable to me. It had not support in the middle and I believe the matress should be replaced.

Trip for a baseball game

Posted Jun 24, 2014
Pros: The staff was very outgoing...
Location: Very central to the sights in the city...walking distance to Busch St, the Arch etc.
Hotel was dingy, out dated and over priced. I understand in the city hotels are more expensive, but at this rate I would expect at least clean rooms. The carpets were stained, the couches were so dirty I would not let my children sit on them. Just disappointing.
