Pretty decent, but rooms could use a little updatePosted Jul 27, 2015
Pros: Room size/ bathrooms. Nice bistro on the Lobby level, nice large pool with nice rooftop view of the city.
Cons: Update carpet and furniture in rooms.
Location: Within walking distance of Busch stadium. Close to highway for easy navigation. Short driving distance from many other St. Louis attractions.
What attracted me to this hotel was the price for a suite and the proximity to Busch stadium. I was very pleased with the entrance and hotel staff, but the rooms could have been nicer. Just an update to carpet and furniture would make a big difference. Also, had a few lights that didn't work. A remote control that was broken, luckily the common area remote worked for both tvs. The coffee maker didn't work, and when we requested sheets for the sofa bed, it took nearly 45 minutes to get.

Decent hotel within walking distance to downtown.Posted Jul 27, 2015
Hotel first impression was very nice. Room wasn't as clean as I would have liked. Dust on the tv, TV stand, and obvious dust lines around the wall where the vaccum doesn't reach. The first room they put us in smelt like stale smoke, however, they gladly updated us to a suite free of charge. Location is great. You can walk to all downtown attractions, restaurants, and stadiums. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Another downside is you have to pay $17 per day to park in the parking garage so keep that in mind when selecting this hotel.

Comfortable stayPosted Jul 23, 2015
The hotel is very easy to get to off the highway and is in a very clean safe neighborhood. A luxurious bed and comfortable room but not well stocked. Old coffee filters still left in the machine, no tissues in the box, no do not disturb sign anywhere in the room. Minor inconveniences for an overall nice stay.

Perfect locationPosted Jul 23, 2015
Great location to get to Busch Stadium and other city attractions. Our room had a 1/2 empty water bottle in the bar when we arrived and our sink was duty. But the overall cleanliness if he room and hotel was good. I would recommend this hotel.

Great location, older hotel that needs updatesPosted Jul 21, 2015
Older hotel, could use some renovations. The hotel was in a perfect location for an event ant the Scottrade Center. It is across the street from the arena and within walking distance to several places downtown. At checkin, I was greeted immediately. However, one of the people at the desk was not very friendly nor able to check in guests. The person that dO the check in was nice and very helpful. It seems that they are also short staffed, there was rarely more than one person at the front desk and I had to wait in line to be helped. The room was spacious, it did smell as if the room was previously one that allowed smoking. So, it did have that odor but none of my clothing or belongings smelled like smoke. The carpet was old and could be replaced. I did find some dust behind the nightstand, but the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I did like that there was a refrigerator and microwave in the room. This hotel would be better with some renovations and upgrades . I did enjoy my brief stay and may consider it again in the future.

Room was filthy!Posted Jul 18, 2015
Filthy room. Bathroom was moldy. Advertised hot tub had plywood covering it. Charged for everything but no bathroom items were replenished.

Nice hotel, could have been run better.Posted Jul 17, 2015
Pros: The jetted tub in the room was great, and so was the view from the outside deck on the top floor. The gym looked nice as well.
Cons: The smell, seriously. This was the worst thing about our experience.
Location: The Arch and riverfront weren't too far away, the hotel offered a shuttle, and the Metrolink was close as well.
The City Center hotel was very aesthetically pleasing upon arrival, but after two nights, we found that it wasn't the greatest. When you walk in, there's an overbearing disgustingly sweet odor that I assumed was too much air freshener. It permeates throughout the entire hotel, but is most noticeable in the lobby. The swimming pool was very nice, but the water tasted very salty. I'm not sure if that was from too much or not enough chlorine, and I was afraid to ask. The hot tub was closed, and had big sheets of plywood over the top of it, which looked like they were semi-permanent. The room was huge, but had the same smell as the lobby, only not as strong. Maybe it's just my sense of smell, but it was very overbearing, even in our room. The only thing that made it tolerable is that the room was very reasonably priced through Expedia. It says I'm not supposed to talk about price, but what I will say is that Ben Franklin would have been ok with the pricing for both nights.

Great for a cardnuals game!!Posted Jul 10, 2015
Easy check in! Great walk to the Busch stadium! It was literally perfect! The furniture in the room was out dated and one of the lamps was broken and wallpaper was falling off but it was still a nice hotel I greatly enjoyed my stay!
