Atmosphere can't be beaten.

Posted Jul 10, 2014
Pros: The ambience,
Cons: Like all hotels / hotel chains, they lack the foresight to supply good, fast & free internet to all travelers. A minimum requirement for me.
Location: Not a perfect location to be able to walk to entertainment shopping, but made up by the wonderful atmosphere of the bar area and also the old station.
What a spectacular entrance / bar area, and the daily light show is tremendous.

Hotel is upgrade

Posted Jul 8, 2014
Pros: The hotel staff is very polite and helpful on all levels. The staff makes you very comfortable and do what needs to be done to accommodate .
The union station is getting back to where it should be. The new management has taken the the old hotel and has started to spend money to upgrade and it shows. The rooms are in the process of overhaul and the units that are complete are very nice. The only issue at this time is that there is alot of construction going on but is to be expected in order to get where the hotel needs to be.

This hotels is very big and spread out. The pool is very nice and the hotel is clean. The room was in need of some repairs and the cable was fuzzy. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The lobby has a very fun and vibrant atmosphere at night. I would stay in this hotel again.

Front desk staff was more than accommodating. Very friendly. The hotel is very nice overall, but there is a mall type are in the bottom level that seems very empty.

Great stay at Union Station hotel.

Posted Jun 22, 2014
Extremely friendly staff at the hotel...Free wifi that we weren't expecting was a definite bonus. If we needed anything, just a quick call to the front desk and it was on its way! Caitlin was very helpful at check-in on Thursday. The light show every night was amazing and varied each hour so the kids were entertained. Pool temp was the only thing that the kids mentioned they would change.... it was kept at 85 degrees so not very refreshing on a warm summer afternoon!

Nice lobby but hotel needs a big renovation

Posted Jun 22, 2014
The hotel needs major renovations. The lobby is great and has such a good potential. However, the rooms seemed very run down for the price that I payed. Other hotels closer to downtown are in much better conditions for the same price. It needs to be renovated or they should lower their prices. Not very happy with the experience.

Delightful architecture, convenient city location.

Posted Jun 19, 2014
Pros: Courteous Staff, Great Architecture, Attached Mall to walk at night after it closes, restaurants nearby, Brand New Hotel Room, view of pond, park.
Cons: Parking was far away. Rooms were far from main entrance… Only challenging for transport of luggage. Train Station setup prevents change.
Location: Approx. 1 mile from St. Louis arch. Attached Mall with restaurants. Pond with gold fish. Park across the street that goes to the Arch.
Our room had just been remodeled. Very nice bathroom, pullout couch, overlooked pond and other restaurants in facility. Bellmen were very pleasant and helpful in getting our luggage to the room and watching our car for us. The detail in the late 1800s architecture was captivating. Parking area was well lit and supervised.
