“Good Hotel , High priced food”

The Hotel is good, the room perfect , the best location but the staff nee to be more deligent with guest concern mt TV remote was never repaired and it just need batteries. The breakfast buffet was extermely expensive. But in General good price for the room and service.

“Couple Days Chill Time”

My 2nd time at Bay Gardens and had a fun time despite the showers every day for the time...24-27 Nov. .....1st stayed at Bay Gardens Hotel in 2007.......had few lows in our stayed...the "blue lights" on the AC unit lit up the room during sleep time..Call maintenance for a flickering light but he didn't show..Staff are pleasent, cheery, always greeting you with a nice smile ...special mention to Mrs Jules for allowing us to rest in one room while ours was being readied.I booked a room on the 2nd floor/non smoking and got exactly that..Being able to use the Resort is a big plus. I chosed Bay Gardens for the convenient location to shopping area, bars, restaurants, supermarket, city area and the exceptional staff. and of course Reduit beach.Pigeon Island and the beach area are very scenic and picturesque.The staff treated us equally alike and not like some hotels that treat Caribbean people different from guests from outside our area..i have experienced this in another island before.Working in the hotel industry myself, we all will overlook little things in the physical structure if the staff is exceptional and the staff here certainly is...keep up this good service. I will certainly recommend this hotel and return again.....once again thanks Bay Gardens for my few days of "chilaxing".....

Area recommendations
Pigeon Island is an historic area to visit and The Pitons too (although i didn't take the trip)....too scared of those hills...Soufriere Volcano would be great too and there are lots of trips/tours that go there.just pick up a brochure from your hotel or ask the local guys around the beach area at Reduit....the Caribbean is an exciting chain of Islands and one can find countless things to do.just ask your friends who have gone b4, book your flight and come on down.....

“Very satisfied for St. Lucia standards”

Clean hotel rooms, friendly and helpful staff, much better quality than everything else we had seen in St. Lucia. Would definitely go back there again.

“Nice place”

Recommendable for low budget tours, probably also good place for family holiday. Mall and restaurants around the corner, 2 stops by bus or minor walk to marina and beach. To the beach also a shuttle is provided with 30 minutes schedule -

“"Simply Wonderful"”

Bay Gardens Inn was home to our family for 18 nights. We had such a wonderful time there that my skeptic hushand and hard to please kids did not want to leave. They had a simply wonderful time. My 6yr old son and my 10 yr old daughter had a blast with the pool and the wi-fi. We all enjoyed the AC. We welcome the mini fridge and kettle but would welcome even more a microwave (of course, BGI's staff had no problem reheating whatever we ask in the hotel restaurant). We had a pool view from the veranda and also enjoy the sunrise, rain and distant hillside view. Daily maid service gave this mom a relief--thanks to Malessa and Ms. Jules.

Area recommendations
Rodney Bay Mall- It is new and still developing, but you will enjoy its shopping and eating areas. Castries, The Arcade/Market- Everything is there. Soufriere- Diamond Falls, Nature Trail, Sulphur Springs, Mineral Baths--You will become part of Nature. Pigeon Island-Fort Rodney-See the Caribbean Sea meets the Atlantic Ocean and if it is not raining, see a glimpse of Martinique. Beautiful and breath-taking panaramic view.
Getting around
You will not have any problems getting around St. Lucia. Just check the front desk and if you feel like walking two minutes to the Rodney Bay mall from Bay Gardens Inn, taxi or local bus(quite reasonable) is right there. If you wish to venture furthur into the Gros Islet (EC$1.25) or Castries(EC$2.25) by local bus/mini vans, no problem and no pressure, the local bus driver will gladly help you.
What to pack
When you pack for Bay Gardens Inn, just pack your clothes and bathing suits. Towels are provided daily and if you need towels for the beach that is also provided. Daily toiletries eg shampoo, soap and lotion are given. Daily maid service provide all your need, you will think you are home. Ms. Jules and malessa & staff make sure of that.

“Good time at Rodney Bay”

Workers at the hotel were very nice. The room was OK (not top of the line) but you get what you pay for & I'd stay at the Bay Gardens again.

Can easily walk to the beach - and a grocery store is on the way.

“Greg and Robin Randallstown Maryland Will go bacxk again”

The hotel is in a very good spot bus line across the street Restarunts close by Big Cheif Steakhouse No 1, Ricuals coffee shop outstanding Grocery Store all in walking distance. My wife and I have stayed at bay Gardens 3 times in the last 2 Years. Hotel room needs up dating Lobby as well. The restarunt o at the hotel is the worst. But for the price and the location it is the best, also Bay Gardens Resort and Bay Gardens Hotel same change bay gardens Hotel is next to the Inn and the Bay Gardens Resort is on the Beach.

“Quaint little spot at a great location!”

The hotel was low key but very nice and quaint which is just what I had wanted. The rooms were bright and cheery and clean and the balcony overlooking the pool was delightful. The location was perfect for a tourist area, many things within walking distance. The staff was very nice and helpful especially the front desk staff. The only real complaint I have was the wake up calls were not really done on time and one was missed. Also, it would have been nice to have some kind of clock in the room. There was an issue with water but that was because of the island and not the hotel so they weren't really to blame. It would have been nice to have a small complimentary breakfast with coffee/tea adn muffins and some fruit but I understand the price was cheap and reasonable probably because they didn't have that. Overall, a very good experience.

“Suited me fine”

I stayed in a suite, which was comfortable and well serviced. I mostly ate out, but the evenings I did eat in, just fine.

Traveler's tip
Two problems: the wifi signal in the room was not reliable and (ii) the taxi rank outside the door was outrageously expensive. Local bus service was frequent, crowded, no a/c, but very acceptable.
