“Pure Luxury....Ultimate Relaxation”
My boyfriend and I visited Cap Maison over Thanksgiving weekend. We could not have asked for a more amazing way to spend the holiday. The resort is absolutely breath-taking, the service was amazing, and the food was delicious (some of the best meals I have had this year!). Top that all off with a beautiful private beach and roof-top terrace plunge pool, and you cannot go wrong! I would definitely reccommend this hotel to anyone who is looking to get away from crowds, hectic schedules, and all the other obligations of everyday life. You will truly be able to fully let go and relax in the beautiful setting of St Lucia, and come back fully relaxed and restored.
“Beautiful and Serene”
From the local drivers I found out that Cap Maison is one of the top resort properties on the Island of St. Lucia. The meals, the friendly and responsive staff, the views and the experience were all first class. Our every whim was catered to and we left with great hesitation after such a truly pampered Caribbean experience. You'll love it!
“Magnificent”
Excellent place to relax and recharge. Spectacular views and service. Romantic. Superb restaurant.
“Great place but don't get the jacuzzi”
Great location. Excellent service and the Cap restaurant was excellent. We had an Ocean view with a jacuzzi. The room was excellent, nicely furnished and very comfortable. We never could figure out how to work the jets on the jacuzzi and it took forever to fill it up. Would not recommend the jacuzzi. Hotel staff were excellent. We would stay at the north end of the island again. Castries and the Rodney Bay area is nicer than Soufriere but Soufriere has the Pitons. Would recommend the hike up the Gros Piton but it's steep hiking. If we visit San Lucia again would not hesitate to stay at the Cap.
“Beautiful Place/Disappointing Restaurant”
The Cap Maison was a very nice place and very well kept up! They have a great pool and a great beach to have fun in. The only complaint we had was the high cost of the food for very small portions! We only ate at the restaurant the night we checked in. We were so disappointed in the small bite size portions that we went down to Rodney Bay every night after that for some real good food, and regular size portions at much more fair prices! The Big Chef was our favorite, we ate there twice! Except for the Restaurant the hotel was great!
“Very Romatic Getaway”
We just returned from a five day stay at Cap Maison to celebrate our anniversary. We stayed in a villa with a "jacuzzi" that was more of a plunge pool. Our villa was very spacious and the rooftop terrace was very romantic and private. The hotel beach was small but wonderful and we made good use of the beach bar. The staff were friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely return!
“Extremely pleased with our stay”
My wife and I just returned from a magical stay at Cap Maison. We like quiet, more secluded places, and this property was just what we were hoping to find. Its located in a very upscale part of the island, on its northern buffs, and features splendid sunsets, a 5-star restaurant, beach access with lots of water activities, several really nice pools, spa and many other luxury amenities. If there was anything to criticize, it would be the poorly paved road leading to the property from Rodney Bay. But that, we are told, is supposed to be fixed later this summer. This was our first trip to the St. Lucia and we were so nicely treated both by the hotel staff as well as the many people we met while visiting various locations. St. Lucians are very warm and hospitable. Our pointers for future guests is to make sure that, immediately after arriving, talk with the guest services staff to arrange for your activities. There are so many, and you need to plan them out ahead of time. We recommend taking a driver for a day to take you around the island. A car with a driver for 7 hours costs under $150 USD and is a great way to see the island. Also must sees include the rainforest zip line (1/2 day), sunset cruise, and the sulfur springs. We didn't have a chance to do diving, but I hear it is quite exquisite. I did some snorkeling off of our local beach with sights that were amazing. We highly recommend Cap Maison for adults looking for a quiet, romantic get-away.
“Weekend Retreat.”
The hotel is excellent - friendly staff and a very relaxed environment. We were under the impression that there were multiple venues on site to dine and this was not the case. The food, overall, was slightly above average with well above average prices. We found this to be the case everywhere on the island though. I would recommend this hotel and the island overall for a couple that is looking to get away and turn things off for a long weekend. The flight from the Eastern US is pretty simple, taking about 4 hours all together.
“Overpriced for what is advertised”
Overpriced compared to other resorts in St Lucia. Staff was not as courtesy as it should be. Pricing for food and beverages were outrageous for this style of hotel. Rooms were nice and clean.. Beach was extremely small as was the pool area. Food was mediocre at best.
“Not impressed.”
If you like to lie on a beautiful beach, Cap Maison is not the place for you. Don't be fooled by the images on the internet about the beach as it is definitely not up to snuff. Cap Maison is a nice boutique hotel, but it is very limited as to its facilities for food (very expensive) and the beach.
