Everyone at the resort was fantastic! Highly recommend the excursions- we went horseback riding, snorkeling and did the zip line. Pools and beach were fabulous. The food at the resort was a nice mix of kid friendly and many options for any adult.

Great hotel, but the beach is lacking

Posted Feb 11, 2015
Pros: VERY friendly staff Great food
Cons: More nighttime activities
Wonderful hotel with very friendly staff, but unfortunately the beach on this side of the island is full of seaweed. If you're more of a pool lounger, this is the place for you. Always something going on during the day, slightly lacking in nighttime entertainment but a very relaxing getaway.

Beautiful Island and People

Posted Feb 8, 2015
Pros: Excellent customer service by the staff, activities available and good food
Cons: Better efforts to stop people from saving the more comfortable loungers near the beach for hours while they are not being used.
Location: The location was close to the airport which we liked and there are many excursions offered to get around and see the island.
Had a wonderful vacation. Beautiful island. Lots to do at this resort. Food was great. The staff provides excellent service and always with smiles. Would like to mention some of the staff and thank them for their great service throughout our stay: Eric, Lerry, Etto, Chrissy, Yolo, Kerndy, Big Ted, Da Joker, Jimmy, Danner, Shirley and everyone in the boutique and store. Will definitely return to St. Lucia.

Coconut Bay Beach Resort & Spa January 2015

Posted Feb 5, 2015
Pros: The fact that it was truly all-inclusive. We also enjoyed the spa, beautiful and relaxing. Loved Chocolate night and we had so much fun paint balling
Cons: Nightly entertainment.
Location: Unfortunately the excursions all were a long car ride away on a winding road. We did go to a volcano, mud bath and hot springs as well as snorkeling.
Having never stayed at an all-inclusive, we were skeptical. However, we were pleasantly surprised with Coconut Bay. The food was fabulous, as were the drinks! We were never hungry, or thirsty. The staff were all friendly and accommodating. The resort is beautiful, plenty of pools and hot tubs and beautiful scenery. My husband and I brought our adult children with us - ages 23 and 19. We stayed on the Splash side - not realizing the difference. It was not an issue. When we wanted to be in a child free area we just walked over to the Harmony. Not realizing that the resort was not on the Caribbean side of the island was slightly disappointing. We had to do an excursion to snorkel and it was a long winding road trip to get to a very small, over crowded run down beach area. The snorkeling, however, was great there. Coconut Bay is really a wonderful resort if you want to eat, drink and relax by the pool. The meals in the main dining room were terrific with different options daily. We ate breakfast and lunch there but we had our evening dinner in the restaurants which were also included in the all-inclusive price. Silk serves Asian cuisine and we really enjoyed the food. The service was fabulous. Capri was outdoor, more casual with Italian food. The antipasto station was really special. Our favorite restaurant was Calabash. The steak was to die for! I almost forgot the Beach Grill. Great food for lunch. My son ate jerk chicken sometimes twice a day - we loved it.

FANTASTIC!

Posted Jan 28, 2015
Pros: See above.
Cons: There wasn't really anything that detracted from our stay. Some of the staff were not as warm as I would have liked, but certainly helpful and polite
Location: We didn't leave the resort but there's an activities desk in the main lobby with staff to arrange all different kinds of excursions.
I can't say enough about this Coconut Bay! There are many things to do in St. Lucia, however we were primarily interested in relaxing. The resort is located minutes away from the airport, however there aren't a lot flights arriving and departing, so the noise wasn't bothersome. Transportation to and from the resort was prompt and organized. The facility has a family friendly section, and an adults-only section. The adult only section had 2 pools, ocean front seating, and a nearby bar. There is a constant, refreshing breeze on the waterfront. Good food is available all day. The buffet had good food and nice decor, however it is family-friendly and therefore, noisy at times (understandably). The staff was generally gracious and friendly with some exceptions (not rude, just perfunctory). Nice gift shop. Lovely room with very comfortable bed. Well maintained grounds. The lobby area has a festive feel with another bar, wonderful breeze and people mingling. The guests were 60% North American, 40% European, so we heard different languages and accents... a good international flavor. The gym had a decent selection of equipment. All in all, an absolutely perfect vacation. We are heading back next year!

Pros: Good central location on island for all the different excursions.
Cons: Bed could have been more comfortable.
Location: Ocean is kind of rough which is fine but just need to keep in mind depending on which activities you would like to do.
Staff is amazing! They take the time to get to know you and are always excited to see you! They are working on developing more activities to make the resort kid friendly.
