The resort is situated on a private, sandy beach overlooking the calm waters of Cotton Bay. A complimentary shuttle is provided to St. Lucia Golf and Country Club, the adjacent 18-hole golf course.

Recreation amenities include a health/fitness club, 35-meter lap pool, children's splash pool, beach playground, and a variety of non-motorized water sports. The Hummingbird Kids Club, for children ages 2 – 8, is available year-round, as are private nanny services (surcharge). Scheduled activities for older children and teens are also offered.
