“Great value, great locaion”
The staff was very friendly. Great location to walk around Rodney Bay.
“Very nice little hotel”
The Ginger Lily is a great spot in Rodney Bay. It is close to all the restaurants and the crowed Reduit Beach. It is a nice quiet hotel. The room is large and clean. My only complaint is the mattress was pretty old and had a definite spot I rolled into. Not comfortable so sleeping was difficult.
“Wonderful Hotel”
We spent 4 nights there in early April. Very accomodating staff - they helped make arrrangements for a livery service to fetch us from the airport for the trek to the hotel. The location is ideal - right accross the street from the beach and within walking distance of some very nice restaurants, My only minor comment is that they should make arrangements for guests to be able to print their airline boarding passes for the trip back home. That would be helpful, instead of having to go down the street to do so. Other than that, everything was absolutely perfect.
“Perfect for this catagory”
Friendly to the MAX. Special treatment by staff with room decorations and flowers. Secure. Easy to arrange transportation. Ask how to adjust shutters. HUGE bathroom with giant shower (no tub).
“Safe, and Enchanting, a Secret Garden Hotel.”
This is a beautiful hotel with very courteous staff. It is more picturesque than the advertisements. The beach access is right across the street. Our room was beautiful with a large bedroom and sunken living-room/kitchen just off of it with a private outdoor sitting area with a dinning table for 6. Front and back entrances. All rooms have private accesses no big hallways. Lovely pool and gardens. No safety issues as they have a night guard who sits out front all night and patrols the grounds every 15-20 mins, the hotel is also completely gated and the police station is right across the street so anyone will feel safe even if they tend not to be when traveling. We will definitely stay hear again with this great location and fantastic hotel.
“GINGER LILY WAS THE BEST PLACE TO STAY EVER EXPERIENCED!”
Natasha was a real asset to the Ginger Lily and made the difference in our stay being excellent and the true best. I appreciate the hotel, her and all of the people in St. Lucia that were so kind. Thank you
“Nice, friendly place”
We stayed at the Ginger Lily for 6 days and had a great stay! We were pleased with the location, with easy access to the beach and to restaurants. We felt very safe and the room was very spacious and comfortable. The staff is very nice and friendly, helpful (they decorated our bed for our arrival, made us coffee, etc.), but they were very noise early in the morning, with loud conversations and singing. I would definitely recommend this hotel, and hope to return in the future.
“The reviews don't lie!”
I did extensive research on TripAdvisor and Expedia, looking for the perfect price and comfort level hotel for our stay in St. Lucia. I initially knew nothing about the island (except, that I wanted to go, of course), and I was looking at reviews for all-inclusives. The pricing was ridiculous, and the reviews didn't give me any encouragement. When I started on the reviews of the regular hotels, the Ginger Lily stood out for location and value. It is the best location for the price--the nicest beach in St. Lucia is across the small road it is on. The staff was FANTASTIC! They were polite, had great suggestions on local to-do's, and were very attentive to our enjoyment of the island. Don't waste your money on other options!! The rooms were very clean and comfortable, the "noise" other reviewers wrote about wasn't there. The area is great for people who want variety of food choices. There is a supermarket 15 minutes (walking) away, and there is a little kitchen-ette in the room. Book the upper rooms for more privacy. I am going back to the island as soon as "real life" affords it--and my husband and I would not stay anywhere else. Not to be redundant, but, the staff was really why we would go back. They were all great hosts!
“Simply Lovely”
This hotel is simply lovely! Very clean and tidy. The beds were comfortable. It was nice that the hotel reminded us with small discrete signage in the rooms to consider the environment when running water or running the air conditioning. It is within walking distance to any type of food you could want. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable - very willing to assist in whatever way possible. No laundry facility on site. We would go back in a trice!
“Pleasant Much Needed Winter Break”
The Ginger Lily Hotel is a great quaint little hotel that is perfect for singles, couples, and possibly a couple with 1 very small child. It is not designed for families or groups with teenagers. There are no on site activities. However, if you are the kind of traveler that likes to control your on schedule and mingle with the locals at a decent rate, this is the place for you. It has a great location on Rodney Bay. Plenty of restuarants with in 5 minutes walk. Beach 2 minutes walk across street. and easy access to local bus and taxis. The staff, room, and hotel and general were great and well maintained. The so call Ocean View is a stretch, but you can see it. It is a 1.5 hour drive from the airport, but hey you get a tour of half the island so you can save some dollars. I definitely would and will be staying there on my next trip. If you select the Ginger Lily say hello to G Lily the cat for me.
