The plantation chic boutique hotel, Boucan by Hotel Chocolat, is set on the oldest working cocoa estate on the beautiful Island of Saint Lucia. Featuring CocoaJuvenate Spa with exclusive cacao-inspired treatments, Club Boucan - a private pool clubhouse with infinity pool, and the unique cacao cuisine restaurant, Boucan.

Boucan Restaurant & Bar serves cacao-inspired breakfast, lunch & dinner. The stunning building is set in the mountain-side looking out towards the Petit Piton mountain, with 3 open sides, guests enjoy the feeling of al-fresco dining. The open-plan kitchen provides theatre for diners who are able to watch their meal being freshly prepared by the talented chefs. Boucan draws on the natural, local resources, using fruit & vegetables grown on the estate and local produce where possible. Cacao appears throughout the menu in varying degrees, from line caught yellow fin tuna with cacao pesto to Saint Lucian chocolate tart. Guests can enjoy a cocktail in the bar lounge area, trying the signature cacao pulp bellini or taking on the battle of the rum punches with the stunning views & chilled out playlist it's the perfect place for a sundowner!

The must-do experience for every guest to The Hotel Chocolat is the Tree to Bar Experience. Unique to the hotel, the Tree to Bar Experience is an exclusive opportunity for guests to discover the exciting origins of chocolate and even to create their own! It begins with a walk through the dappled shade of the estate’s cacao groves, selecting ripe cacao pods that are then cut from the tree. It ends with guests making their own chocolate bars from beans that they have roasted themselves. And along the way, guests will have a hands-on adventure that takes in all of the stages in between – from grafting seedlings in the nursery, feeling the warm beans drying in the sun, not forgetting grinding, mixing and, of course, lots of tasting!Additional trips can be organised through concierge including boat trips, climb of Gross Piton & daily beach transfers.

CocoaJuvenate Spa has two treatment rooms perched in a stunning location above the hotel. Our exclusive range of wellness therapies are packed with antioxidants and vital minerals , the cacao bean has a myriad of uses, and we’re making the most of them – from head to toe! We make our unique lotions and potions on the estate in fresh, small batches,
