Pros: Staff, Cleanliness and the food.
Cons: Nothing.
Great experience all around. All of the staff was very friendly and worked very hard to try to please us. We felt like we were waited on and attended to at all times. Food was very good. Met very nice people that were also staying there.

Great all inclusive
Posted Jan 7, 2013
Pros: The food, and the pool.
Cons: Some of the nighttime entertainment was appealing to an older generation.
Location: Can only really venture out through excursions but the zip lining and the Joes Knows tours were great!
We had a wonderful time. The island is beautiful, we had a great time on our excursions, loved our massages and the food was fantastic especially the French cuisine at their restaurant La Toc. We found a quiet pool where we could relax and read and if we wanted to be more socialwe could always join in at the bigger main pool. Our only suggestions for improvements would be an upgraded air conditioning unit in the room, when it was turned off it leaked and left water damage on the wall. More bottled water would've been nice in the room as it was easy to get dehydrated with the heat, easier access to the internet, and sometimes the food service was very slow, we adjusted for this by ordering more appetizers.

Great Hotel Resort
Posted Jan 4, 2013
Pros: The good customer service culture.
Location: Great
Our weekend experience was totally relaxing and fun at the same time. There was no pressure to get to meals on time etc as things were always available. The entire staff are well trained and very pleasant, helpful and friendly. Suggestions: 1. The availability of a blow dryer in each room. Or probably you should mentioned that guest should walk with their own. 2. Some sort of "back in times" disco night. The patrons appear to be mostly over 40 years and there is not much to do after dinner except for the "Piano Bar". 3. A beach or poolside barbecue during the weekend may be a good idea to encourage the use of the beach facilities and water sports (kayaking etc).

Sandals La Toc St Lucia
Posted Jan 1, 2012 on Hotels.com
Had a great Honeymoon here! Great food, service, pool, beach. Great that you can use all 3 resorts as we spent a couple of full days at the Grande which was great as well! La Toc had the best pool in our opinion but Grande had the better beach if you like calm water. La Toc had the best food options and wow, the food was definitely a cut above any all inclusive we've ever been too! Pitons restaurant at La Toc is a hidden gem and doesn't require a reservation. Pretty expensive but well worth it when you look at the quality of the resort and the food. We'll definitely go back to Sandals, and if we were to pick between the 3 resorts in St Lucia we would still pick La Toc slightly over the Grande. Wouldn't even bother looking at Halcyon as it doesn't hold a candle to the other 2 resorts, it almost seems like it's not even the same ownership, very small and just not much to it at all. Overall a great experience!!

GREAT vacation spot!!!

Pros: The people and setting
Cons: Not patio
Location: Beautiful and perfect beach vacation
My husband and I traveled from November 17 - 25 for our honeymoon, and were beyond happy with our choice! We booked the trip kind of last minute, about 3 weeks before, so room choices were limited. We ended up getting an ocean view room, on the 3rd floor by the main pool. At first, I wanted to switch rooms because I wants a room with a private pool, but the resort was completely booked up. In the end, our room was actually great because of the location. It was close to the "action" and we could see/hear the ocean as well as pool activities and evening music. The bed was firm and very comfy. We prefer a firmer mattress and the linens were very clean. They supplied plenty of bath towels and would give fresh ones 2x/day. Fridge stocked with soda, juice and h2o. Air conditioning and cloning fan kept the room a perfect temperature. The drinks and food were amazing. Almost every meal we had was delicious. There are 7-8 restaurants and we went to all, but Kimonos. We had reservations there one night, but canceled to go to the "street fair" instead! La Toc is the French restaurant and reservations are required there also. All the baked goods, from the breakfast pastries to the bread served with dinner, were amazing. Yummmm. There are 3-4 pools, but the main pool is the best! Plenty of floats. I recommend getting up before 9 and grabbing a lounge. I would get to the pool every day around 8 and was always one of the 1st people out. Plenty of towels, you can get as many as you want

All the staff are very friendly and eager to please. Our ocean view suite with private sundeck was very clean and comfortable, and the furnishings were pleasing to the eye. We were disappointed with Kimonos because we could not choose what we were going to eat or get any sushi; however, the rest of the restaurants at the resort had excellent food. Everyone is on "island time" so your drinks and food are not served as quickly as they are in U.S. restaurants. The resort is very relaxing and in a very scenic setting, and everything is taken care of for you, including arranging transportation, check-in, and check-out.
