Far exceeded expectationsPosted Sep 30, 2013
Pros: The staff, the quality of the food, our room, the swim-up bar in the pool.
Location: Amazing beach. Close to downtown Castries, has a few places to shop. Complementary transportation anywhere on the island is provided.
The resort is beautiful, the food was amazing, and the drinks were awesome. The best part of the resort was the staff and the service. Tipping is not allowed and nobody requests tips, but it seemed like everyone's mission to ensure that we were having a good time. From the minute you arrive at the airport (they have a private room for Sandals guests that is air conditioned and serves drinks and appetizers), they take great care of you during your stay and many employees are willing to go the extra mile for you. By far the best all inclusive resort we have ever stayed at. FYI, the bus ride from the airport (UVF) to the resort is a little over an hour and goes through some very curvy roads. Do not forget to bring some type of anti-nausea medication for this.

Nice view and wonderfulPosted Sep 20, 2013
We stayed for a week for our one year wedding anniversary/honeymoon! It was wonderful and we loved it! The only thing that really bugged us was random workers were unhappy with their jobs. But for the most part everyone was so great! We did the candlelight dinner for our anniversary and let me tell you the crab cakes and surf and turf was so amazing!! Kimonos was also great!! We ate at la toc and that was also great! The only place that wasn't the best was neptunes which we did only have lunch at the first day we arrived was not as good as the dinner was I believe which we heard from other couples was really good :) I know we will definitely do another sandals vacation! Everything was worth the money and we had so much fun! Miguel at the pool bar was so fun! He made being at the pool so much fun! Abhuiti- I think.... The restaurant manager at kimonos and also customer service guy everywhere was so awesome!!! He was the most awesome person the whole time! He helped us so much and could not have been happier doing so! If there was more people like him and Miguel... I would have probably died and gone to heaven! AMAZING!! Anyways we loved the whole week and enjoyed all of it!!!

Nice resort, and views!!!Posted Sep 18, 2013
Cons: Almost every bar was out of something at one time or another. No strawberry or Pina Colada mix, Crown Royal?
Nice resort. Staff was very good and pleasant. Main pool bar needed more than one bartender. Restaurants were pretty good. La Toc the French restaurant was excellent. Breakfast in the Pavilion was great with the omelet cook doing it up. The ride to the resort is not for the car sick people as it is very curvy, hilly and 1 hour from the airport. Overall a nice resort.

Enjoyed our stay very much. Staff treated us like royalty. Some of the guest weren't very friendly around the pool, but they were few and my husband and I still had a wonderful vacation. St. Lucia is one of the most beautiful resorts we have visited. Please consider the walkout room if you can afford the difference in rate. All other rooms are on the second and third floor. Would consider going back to Sandals but probably will go to the Grand.

We had an upgrade because we are returned guests.Posted Aug 25, 2013
Location: 3 sandals on the island.... short commute to visit other location
Dinner on the beach. multiple pools and restaurants. nightly entertainment that was fun for all ages. the staff went out of thier way with each detail. we were celebrating our 19th wedding anniversary. you even have the option of a photographer to follow you throughout your stay; capturing all your special moments. I would recommend this resort to honeymooners. 90% of the couples were on their honeymoon. Made me feel a bit old...

Honeymoon StayPosted Aug 12, 2013
Pros: Lots of activities to do for younger people. We visited the Grande resort for a day--it's nicer than La Toc, but not as much to do there.
Cons: The bed was uncomfortable. Upon checkout, I had to remind the front desk twice to go get my bags to bring them down to the shuttle.
Location: Great excursions through Island Routes: the land/sea tour (or the Joe Knows, both are similar); sunset snorkeling cruise; bicycle waterfall tour
We decided to stay at this Sandals for our honeymoon because it looked nice and had good reviews. When arriving to the airport, don't let the porters "help you" out with your luggage--they take your bags about 20 feet away to the Sandals office area and then expect a $5 tip. They don't work for Sandals, so they expect a tip. The office Sanalds airport was nice with some free drinks and water. They seemed to run a shuttle to the 3 different resorts quite often, and the employees there seemed to be on top of things. The air-comditioned ride from the airport to La Toc is about an hour and a half. This trip prepares you for the kind of roads and traffic that are typical on the island. When we arrived to the resort, we were told to leave our bags at the front door, and we and two other couples were escorted to a nearby room where we were briefed on the resort and basically signed in. The staff was nice and helpful and provided us with champagne and snacks while we were filling out some minor forms. We finished that up, walked to our bags and had a resort staff member escort us to our room (he moved our luggage for us). The room was nice. We stayed in room 309, which was a beautiful ocean view and was directly above the waterfall-side of the pool. I was surprised with how nice the 'oceanview' type room was. Overall, the room was nice but not luxourious by any means. Our fridge was always stocked and the room was kept tidy by our maid.

Very nice accommodations. Great staff!!!Posted Jul 22, 2013
Pros: We had an option of room type and the small bungalows were so nice and private. No more than a 2 minute walk from the main lobby. Worth the walk!!
Cons: Everything was very nice but I felt like the air conditioning unit was too small for the room. The room could have been cooler!
Location: Why would you want to go anywhere outside of the resort? They had nice restaurants, daily activities, water sports, pools & nightly activities.
Everything about the trip was exceptional. The island was beautiful and the resort was in excellent condition. The staff members were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Even the trip from the airport was pleasurable. Our driver was very energetic and knew so much about the island's history as well as current demographics & etc. Our room was small but very nice and the rooms were checked and re-stocked several times throughout the day. The beach was beautiful and the sea was fun for swimming and water sports. Since they had at least 3 swimming pools, it was never crowded. The main pool had daily activities and the other pools were much quiter if you enjoyed less activity. We couldn't ask for a better place to spend a week of R&R!!! Thanks Sandals!

Pros: The pool was great, the staff was friendly, and the weather was perfect.
Our stay at La toc was great. The staff was friendly and the pool was great. The only thing that could have been better was I wish there were more activities at the pool. I felt like I was being treated like a kid at camp.
