The food was great and the bar was lovely. The tours suck and pricey. The room was always clean and well kept.

Expedia charged me an addition 12.65 per night 4 internet which I did not get. The it's night was horrible. The lady at the hotel was not nice at all. However Neal, one of the assistant I guess was really great. 5 start 4 him. Everyone else was pleasant

A great place for a vacation

Posted Aug 11, 2014
Pros: The people are very friendly, the service is great and the rooms are very comfortable
Cons: There are too many mosquitoes and flies in the area and a covered walkway to the petons lounge and restaurant
Location: You must go to the craft market, visit the Soufriere crater and get a close up of the Petons
Smugglers Cove is a great place to spend time with the family and friends. The pools and slide are great and so is the singer Ms Sally and her husband. However, there could be an improvement on the catering for vegetarians as a cheese burger cannot contain beef

Pros: The food was plentiful and tasted really good.. Like I was back home in Trinidad
Cons: The water pressure in the room could be a little more, but other than that we dont know much did not stay much in the room...
Location: Had no need to leave the resort
the experience was great, wish we could have stayed a bit longer, like a week more...

Run down

Posted Jul 17, 2014
Bathroom. Old chipped tile, missing grout, no vent, no screens on window. Bugs ? Shower hot cold not consistent. Shower curtain ! ! ! For the bedroom , no trash can , no screen slide door . Room appears not painted in years. Little up keep at all. Feel sorry for employees. No pride left.

Excellent service and hospitality A+++

Posted Jun 9, 2014
Pros: Everything...service, food, pools, beaches, water sports - amazing.....
Cons: Nothing is perfect, the only problem was the overwhelming prescence of cats.Personally they dont affect me,but my son is terrified by them.cat-control
Location: the day tour to soufre and mud bathing was amazing. Carnival crew catamaran was very entertaining and hospitable. Baba and captain chan are excellent
I would highly recommend this to any one ...including couples on honeymoons or even families. I went with my wife and two kids and they thoroughly enjoyed it. The service was superb. and the environment and very relaxing. Beginning with the reservations team, Leah was outstanding in making sure my family and i were well pleased and very comfortable. Our room was lovely and the kids programs they offer are very enjoyable...my 7 and 4 yr olds love this place. At the kids club "aunty denise" really knows how to make kids comfortable !! Definately will be going back for another vacation here !!

Nice Hotel. Food was great.

Posted Jun 3, 2014
Pros: We loved the All inclusive, food was great, entertainment every night, pools were nice, close to the beach.
Cons: The rooms needs to be up to date. Also, need more drawers.
Location: You name it, they have it on site or close by. Booking a tour was very easy.
We had a great time. Food was great!! All inclusive is the way to go. The room needed a place to put the coffee maker. We had to place it on the floor while making coffee. The TV was outdated and no toilet paper holder. Other than that, our stay at the hotel was great.

Relaxing Vacation

Posted May 31, 2014
Pros: The staff was nice, friendly, and accommodating. The food was delicious as were the drinks.
Cons: The grounds, the tennis courts in particular, could use some upkeep.
We had a very relaxing time at Smugglers Cove. Everyone was friendly and made us feel welcome. It was a little chaotic when we arrived, but there were many people arriving at the same time. The hotel is at the north end of the island and is about a 90 minute drive from the airport, so expect to pay about $90 - 100 US each trip. But the taxi ride to and from the airport was similar to taking a tour of the island, so we enjoyed it. The taxi drivers gave us a lot of information about the island and stopped to let us take pictures. We were able to see parts of the atlantic, carribean, and rain forest areas of the island. If you get motion sickness, be aware that the ride to/from the airport has many windy roads. The buffet food at the Cove restaurant was delicious. There was plenty of food for everyone with many choices and did not have to wait for a table. To eat dinner at the other restaurants at the hotel requires a higher dress code than shorts and flip flops, so if you intend to make a reservation at one of the other restaurants, bring nicer clothes (long pants for men with a collared shirt). We were not aware of the dress code prior to our stay there and didn't bring the right clothes, so didn't get to take advantage of the other restaurants. The snorkeling was fun and were able to see sea snakes, lobster, fish, crabs, and an eel. We also enjoyed the kayaking. The entertainment in the evenings was nice.

Loved the beach. Amazing snorkeling. Friendly and curtious staff. The resort needs updating but it is clean and very fun. Good food and lots of options. I loved it!
