“Perfect location and awesome hotel! Not a single complain!”

We arrived and were received warmly and with a choice of rum punch (a Caribbean favorite) or fruit punch. They were helpful, warm and welcoming. They accommodated our requests and walked us to our room. The room was completely clean! The hotel is placed across the street from a local favorite, Tequila Joe, and an AWESOME strip of restaurants. The most popular bars are no more than 4 minute walk and a supermarket, bank, BK, Subway, KFC and pharmacy are no more than a 8 minute walk away. The beach is impeccable and vendors do not really harass you. Police was everywhere and locals are VERY friendly. I loved my stay, would come again and would recommend this hotel to anyone!

Why we liked this hotel: older & charming, ideal position on the beach. Oceanfront room had beautiful view. A minute walk for a swim or to the restaurant. Open-air restaurant very nice. Overall atmosphere is quiet and relaxing. All-inclusive a bargain. Very nice staff. Buffets were plentiful. Enjoyed the British clientele. Why some might not like the hotel: older with miscellaneous room complaints (noisy AC, leaky showers, etc.). Younger people might want more "bells & whistles". Food not totally remarkable.

“Close to everything”

Hotel service a little slow but made up at happy hour 2 4 1s .no need to rent a car everything is in walking distance . would not recommend all inclusive,to many resturants with great menus O.K.to drink the water.

“Extremely Impressed”

I had a wonderful 2nd anniversary stay at this hotel. Even though things weren't always good with the room at times they promptly changed my room, they were always pleasant, informative and just generally nice. The food was great and their customer service was excellent even when the lights went out in the restaurant, everyone used their cell phones to give light until we got the candles. It was excellent. I recommend to anyone!

“St. Lucian Rex is an ideal getaway spot”

I stayed at the St. Lucian Rex during the last week-end in September. It was a wonderful stay and I am planning another trip in the future. The location is convenient to local shops, restaurants, and transport. The beach is magnificent and the hotel is situated right on the Reduit beach. The staff are very helpful and the oceanview room is very spacious and is kept clean by daily maid service. This is an excellent place for a week-end getaway, family holiday or whatever the ocassion may be. I can certainly recommend the St. Lucian Rex as an ideal vacation spot and the price is right, especially if you are on a budget.

“A great stay in Paradise”

The Lucian Rex is to put it simple a priceless gem. This was my wife's and my first time to St. Lucia and we were more than satisfied with the Lucian we were bedazzled. I know that the staff was top flight and the resort superb. We plan to return to St. Lucia and most definitely plan to stay at the Lucian by Rex. Our stay was simple marvelous. Stay true St. Lucian!

We were so impressed that we returned to St. Lucia and the Rex for the second year in a row. We were again treated royally and the adventure to Sulphur Springs and the volcanic mudbath and snorkeling were fantastic. You go St. Lucia. We definitely will come again.
