Could use some LTCPosted May 14, 2015
This hotel has the ideal location, however the facilities can certainly use some upgrading. The pool should be cleaned more frequently. Whereas the workers on the premises are friendly, the same cannot be said for the front desk staff. The choices of what's being offered for breakfast, free or not, forces the hotel tenants to look elsewhere for both breakfast and lunch. As previously stated, Ginger Lily is very well located and the room prices are fine but a little more attention to the hotel ammenities, looks and staff friendliness would good a very long way. All this being said, I would certainly return to The Ginger Lily

Lovely hotel and staffPosted May 12, 2015
Had a great stay here for the St Lucia Jazz festival. Hotel staff are lovely and the hotel is peaceful, set back from the beach with a private pool. It's just a short walk across the road to the beach. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Close to beach (best on island)Posted May 6, 2015
Pros: It was like being in a little paradise, hammock on balcony, pool, room very spacious and clean. Palm trees and wild life (e.g. humming-birds)
Cons: Maybe a different breakfast selection
Location: Beach across the road, restaurants very near-by, shops 10 min walk
Made very welcome, staff extremely friendly and helpful. Maid cleaned room everyday and made shapes and animals with towels and fresh flowers (which was on our bed everyday). Hotel is small which made it seem like we had our own villa most days as we were by pool by ourselves. Hotel has a taxi driver to use who was very friendly and reliable.

Intimate settingPosted Mar 12, 2015
Pros: The lovely pool area. Friendly staff. Close to great restaurants. Very clean
Cons: Breakfast got a bit boring Would have been nice to have a king bed Ran out of in room coffee, and it was not replaced
Location: Easy walk into town. Good restaurants. Drive to the Pitons was great! Roads are twisty, right hand drive is a bit of a trick, but it was worth it
We love looking for something other than an all inclusive. The Ginger Lily was exactly what we look for. A small, intimate hotel close to a town or village with good restaurants within walking distance of good restaurants, and on, or close to a beach. Rooms are spacious, but simple, and very clean. Breakfast is fine, but not too exciting. Friendly staff. If we return to St. lucia we will definitely stay again.

Great location.Posted Mar 11, 2015
Pros: It's location. The roominess of the units. Being able to make our own coffee early in the morning and drinking it on our patios.
Cons: A variety in the breakfast menu.
Location: We walked to restaurants, could walk to the grocery store but we rented a van (6 of us) we drove to the Pitons and to Pigeon Island. Mostly we just hu
Had a wonderful week from March 3-10.2015. Hanging around the pool, going to the beach, exploring the island and going for fabulous dinners in the nearby restaurants. .

An oasisPosted Mar 8, 2015
Pros: This hotel is a hidden gem. Once you enter, you are part of the quiet oasis of the Ginger Lily. The staff are great.
Cons: A little more attention to some of the maintenance issues. Our room, #7, is known for having a leaky sink. It has never been fixed.
Location: Within walking distance of restaurants and attractions. The beach is across the road.
This hotel is a gem. It is an oasis, in a perfect location. The staff are great. Hold the prices and you will keep attracting the right customers. Be aware that this is the beach that is visited by buses from the visiting cruise ships nearly every day. Plan your beach visits accordingly.
