We stayed at the HTG for a week at the end of May and it was exactly the retreat we were hoping for. The beach is beautiful, the views from the rooms are gorgeous, and Betty is a wonderful hostess. if you are looking for a quiet place to just get away from it all, this is it.

Fantastic experience at the Bleu Emeraude as beach and water right off your patio. The ocean is crystal clear and much of beach unspoiled by commercialism. Restaurants were great as one can choose from many different type of foods,i.e. French, Italian, Cajun, Vietnamese etc; Plenty of shopping choices on Grand Case and the town Marigot as well.

This was our seecond stay at the Coral Beach Club and it will not be our last. We would be happy to live there year round. The whole property is beautiful. Since there are only 21 units, they can give you personal service other resorts don't. The only complaint we would have is that the beach had fairly bad seaweed isues - both on the sand and in the water - most of our 2 weeks there. However, I don't know if that is really the CBC's issue, as it was bad up and down the entire stretch of the beach.

The grand case beach club is the only place to stay on the island. Besides the ocean view from your balcony or lenai, the French continental breakfast, the private beach, the amenities and free wi fi are tip notch. It's located very close to the high end restaurants, and the staff make the experience even better. No complaints, no regrets.

My husband and I just returned from a four-night stay at Azure in SXM. This property is absolutely beautiful. You walk out of your room and within 10 steps your feet are on the sand. The view of the Caribbean is stunning - gorgeous turquoise water, sailboats in the distance, absolute peace! The room itself was perfect...comfy king-sized bed, mini fridge, microwave, dining table and chairs, A/C, satellite tv (which we watched very little as the view was tv enough!). The courtyard area was lovely - flowering trees and plants and really cool turtles. The owner (Mike) was very knowledgeable about the island and gave us a list of things to do and places to eat. Very helpful! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Azure and are planning a return trip soon. HIGHLY recommended!

"Wonderful hotel close to the beach and fine dining"
This was a vacation for our 25th wedding anniversary - my wife and I wanted a very special time together and our expectations were far exceeded. The Alamanda was wonderful. The check in went very smooth. The breakfast in the morning was fresh and delicious. The staff was excellent. The room was very good - comfortable bed, clean, very nice size. The balcony was furnished and an excellent place to relax.
Fine dining was a 2 minute walk away. We ate at 2 of the restaurants - Cote Plages and Le P'tit Bistro. The food was excellent at both. The foie gras at Le P'tit Bistro was incredibly delicious!
The Orient Beach was also a minute walk away. The sand, surf, and water were the most beautiful we have ever seen. The time we spent on the beach together (about 6 hours each day) was awesome! The beach front had restaurants that served lunch and drinks all day. We ate lunch at Andy and Cheryl's. It was very good.
My wife got a pina colada at Kontiki - it was superb!
The atmosphere at the Orient Beach was completely relaxed and chill. People were cool and friendly. Totally hassle free!
The prices for beer, drinks, and food at the Orient Beach restaurants and bars were reasonable.
The vacation was like having the best of France and the Caribbean in one place - a paradise of sensual pleasures and an excellent way for a couple to celebrate their marriage!
