Amazing Gem in Grand Case

Posted Jul 20, 2015
Pros: The location is great on the stretch of beach. You are far enough away from restaurant row not to hear the noise at night but still close enough.
Cons: I recommend staying on the second floor as the bedrooms are near the street do have some street noise.
Location: My wife and I loved our sunset walks on the beach to dinner at one of the many excellent restaurants. There is also rental water activities near by.
The Bleu Emeraude is a delightful B&B type residence. Mya and Fredrick are excellent hosts and very helpful with dinner reservations and other task that require a more fluent tongue. The rooms are spacious and accommodating. A small kitchen is great for preparing lunch and dinner when you feel like staying in. You'll have to make a run to the market down the street to stock up for that though. The daily fresh breakfast consisting of croissant, fruit, orange juice and coffee is a great start to the day. I recommend enjoying this on your balcony and listening to the waves wash on shore. The beach is pleasant and welcoming. Crystal blue water and fine sand beaches make it very difficult to pack up and leave for the day. The short walks up and down the beach row give you plenty to experience. The beach front cafes are a happening spot for charter boats to stop for lunch. Stop by and have a drink around noon to chat with other vacationers.

Neat room, comfortable environment, friendly staff

Posted May 23, 2015
Simple in a very positive way. Only 11 rooms. Quiet. Relaxing ! Once step outdoors, right on the beach, a few more steps, you will be soaking in the delicious blue drink. Federick & Maya were very friendly and helpful. If you are looking for a simple, quiet get away, Bleu Émeraude truly is a gem!

Quiet yet family friendly; easy beach access

Posted Feb 18, 2015
A luxurious alternative for families who want to play in gentle waves and soft sand and avoid the kids resort atmosphere. For those with very little ones the undertow can be avoided by walking a few hundred yards down the beach. Kitchen was well equipped with a very large fridge. Views spectacular.

Excellent property, right on the beach!

Posted Feb 10, 2015
Pros: Loacation, amenities, & room.
Very well maintained property, clean minimalist design, very comfortable, quiet. The reception desk is not open 24/7 but that was fine we were able to coordinate by e-mail a check in time. The location is perfect on a quiet part of grand case beach but a short walk to great restaurants. Very thoughtful details.

Beautiful Boutique Hotel on the sand in Grand Case

Posted Jan 29, 2015
Pros: Clean modern, modern building. Spacious room that was impeccably clean, bright and well appointed. Great view out to the ocean.
Cons: Mattress was way too firm. No starter coffee packets or espresso capsules for the coffee maker and espresso machine in the room.
Location: Short walk or ride to center of Grand Case village and its great restaurants. Short drive to Orient Beach.
We stayed at Bleu Emeraude for two nights to begin our Caribbean vacation. It is a beautiful little hotel that is indeed right on the beach. The desk staff is most friendly and most accommodating. The continental breakfast is limited in scope, but the croissants and bread must be from a local patisserie, as they are very good. The hotel is right on the main highway, but the noise wasn't too bad (combination of windows and a shutter). Getting in and out of the small parking lot can be a problem because of the traffic. A cautionary word about Grand Case. This is St. Martin, not St. Barts (from which I'm writing this) or Anguilla. There is a lot of poverty, and I assume that there is a lot of crime. There are unkempt dwellings that occupy beachfront property, and I had an "incident" with one of the occupants. On our first night, we decided to take the short walk from the hotel into the center of town for dinner. We walked to the restaurant along the beach. On our way back, we decided to walk along the highway, as we did' have a flashlight and there were some rocks on the beach. I took our my I-phone to use the light to navigate on dark section. A young boy, probably 14 or 15, but about my height ran from behind me. I heard him coming and stopped. We had a brief confrontation that turned into a standoff, with him leaving. He obviously wanted to take my phone. If he or I had been a little older, I would have been mugged. If you go, "be careful out there."

Nice Beach-Hotel

Posted Jan 11, 2015
This hotel is really directly on the nice beach. Only a short 5 - 10 min. beach-walk away from the bars and the very good restaurants from grand case. The room, small kitchen, bathroom, - everything is very clean. The breakfast is a small buffet, there you take your coffee, Baquette, Croissant, Butter and Jam, - and take it to your room and enjoy it on your own beach-view terrace. Thank's Maya for the tipps with Anse Marcel, and the best Tipp was the restaurant Cottage in Grand Case. If you like the french cuisine, you have to go there ! Another favorite is the nice Beach at Frias Bay. This Beach is only 15 minutes per car away with an perfekt beach-restaurant.

Excellent hotel right on the beach

Posted Dec 26, 2014
Pros: The hotel is very clean, small and cosy. The kitchen is very smartly equipped. Beds are very comfortable. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly.
Cons: Nothing could be better
Location: Location is great: it is far and close enough from restaurants to not to smell them and to walk there easily. Grocery store is just across the road.
This hotel is just perfect for anyone who likes the privacy.

高級コンドミニアムで居心地は最高

Posted Dec 21, 2014 on Hotels
