Flamingo Beach Resort

I was looking to be relax and I found it at Flamingo Beach Resort. The beach is fantastic,the facilities, although not new, are comfortable. The view is great. The staff was kind of serious but available to serve. If you go by yourself and plan to be relax and not going to many places, the resort is perfect. But, if you plan to go out, I would recommend to rent a car because it is a 10-15 min walking distance to go to the main road where the majority of restaurants are located. The gym is located at another resort which is 10-15 min walking distance. There are few restaurants around the hotel. A grocery store is also close and the prices are good. I would recommend to buy some stuff for breakfast, snacks and light dinner in case you had a good lunch while outside of the resort.

We had such a wonderful time. The beach was so beautiful and the pool so inviting. Topper's on the beach was a great place for breakfast, lunch or dinner.....and of course drinks! We would not hesitate to stay there again. So many places in walking distance, including the Peli Deli, which is perfect for stocking your private kitchen. Our room was much larger then we ever expected, the bed appeared new and very confortable. We had a big walk in shower, living room, 2 flat screen TV's, and the view from our balcony was breathtaking. I don't know what more I could say......Great Staff, helpful and smiling from morning to night. Love The Flamingo Beach Resort.

It had all the luxuries of home,great location if you don't want to rent a car. The beach was nice and staff was friendly.

Great Hotel, Nice updated rooms w/ full kitchen. Not the best beach on the island but those are easy to get to. Walk to the big supermarket and cook your own breakfast and pickup a case of Presidente and you will save some money. I recommend this hotel

The hotel is in a good area on the island and within walking distance of many bars and restaurants. The hotel is a little run down in areas, but they are in the process of remodling the rooms. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be staying there again.

Great locations, excellent sunset views, minutes from airport close to restaurants, marina and grocery (duty free) stores! Don't forget to ask for $20 pp island 5 to 6 hrs bus tours. This tour will give you an idea of the prime locations of the island. Great beach front and excellent location for rookie snorkelers.. Was not a big can of the restaurant on the hotel beach front

This is the second time staying at this resort. I feel comfortable and safe here. The staff are very friendly and the service received is great. My only disappointment this trip was that our room did not get clean until the day before we were leaving which is not the norm. Toppers restaurant has superb food and service. Will be back again.

What a great place to stay!!! As a former supervisor for Marriott Hotels and Resorts, I recognize great properties and superb customer service. From the 2 for 1 poolside drink specials to the pool games to Topper's Restaurant to our great room and amazing view/patio, this property is a GREAT place to stay, especially for a family with 2 small kids. Check-in took until 2PM, but no big deal. We got a discount to go eat at Topper's which is a great beachside restaurant so that killed some time. The pool was great too....lots of lounge chairs and activities. At 7AM I was out there watching the staff carefully and meticulously clean the pool area. Great effort was even given to scrubbing every trace of dirt or bird poop from every brick on the grounds around the pooldeck. Amazing. We only got towels once in 3 days which was too bad, and never got a replenishment of coffee. And the walk down to the main road is a heck of a trek with a stroller....but good exercise I guess :-) Our son had his 6th birthday when we were there and we asked the front desk if there was some special way that they could recognize the day for him (maybe even a free ice cream or juice or something like that). But they said "I don't think there's anything we do for birthdays". John at the pool made sure he won a special prize in a scavenger hunt....so John saved the day! :-) Anyways, I would totally recommend this place to anyone....great job Flamingo!!

Lots to do in Simpson Bay. The 2 beaches are perfect to swim around & sunbath. The pool also has a great ocean view.

great place to visit,friendly, i felt like i didn't want to leave.the island is easy to get around since it's like a big circle,,beaches was great,food was good but a little pricey.The people from the hotel treated me like i owned the place which was a great pleasure
