“"Outstanding - will definitely return"”

Everything about the resort, especially the room/unit we stayed in was outstanding. Great pool and only a few steps from the beach. Everything you need on site.

“Great Vacation”

I truly enjoyed the Flamingo, my suite was spacious & neat. Watching the ships in the bay and planes land & take off was magic at night. Great View from my room.

“Fun in St Martin !!”

This hotel has an excellent location to all activities on the Dutch side. It is right on the beach and has an excellent pool and offers many on site activities. There were two problems that detract from a 5 star rating. First, we were there for 7 nights and only had housekeeping once. The reason they gave was that it is a time share. This was totally unacceptable. Second, one could not charge to the room at the pool bar or the on beach restaurant. Cash only. Who wants to take cash when going to the pool or beach.

“Great Place to Stay”

Loved the location of this resort. Rooms look just like on the website. Bed very comfortable and it is well maintained. Only draw back was our studio did not have an ocean view. Would stay here again.

“Nice beach front hotel if you can find a place to park”

Hotel was on Simpson Bay, not far from the airport on the Dutch Side of the island. Flamingo was a nice hotel with well appointed, clean rooms. The pool, beach areas and lobby were in good shape. 3 things to know: A) $1 a day charge for the in room safe (whether used or not.) B) Parking is very tight. Rent a SMALL car. C) Internet access is through 4 (3 working) computers in the lobby. There is a small fee for timed access. **Overall good value for the money!!***

“Beautiful Beach Front Resort, Very Impressed. Visited May2010”

For a non-branded, Older hotel. It was very well maintained. The Studio we had was very clean and well kept. The food was great and decently priced. The location of the hotel, being beach front ( virtually 10ft from the beach at certain corners of hotel ) was not bad at all. It was basically an enclave setup. Everything was driving distance however. . Visited the Le Galion beach on the French side (this is a must see). Distance is about 1/2hr to 45mins from resort. My kid loved this beach.. Crystal clear water even 100ft out. The pool overlooks a beautiful private beach. The beachfront restaurant (Toppers) was awesome. Had very good food and great price. The staff and locales were very pleasant. Has far as the hotel goes, I would definitely RECOMMEND it. However if you are looking for all the branded name hotel amenities, this hotel does not have them. But if you are looking for R&R on a beautiful beach front resort, this is the place for you. They were not that many kids, here, but that is not a bad thing. My kid loved it. Outside the hotel there was plenty of things to do. 1. Shopping, Kids Go-Carts, Catamaran for kids, Le Galion Beach mainly for children, Jet Skis (right next to the hotel), but if you go away from the resort area, you well find it half the price. Recommend renting a car. Small Island, complete the whole island is approx, 2-3hrs, with traffic. BEST VACATION I HAD FOR OVER 15YEARS. Req. for Ocean view room, was not accommodated. Side/view of Ocean, NOT bad

“Great location right on excellect beach”

One of the best places that I have stayed in St Maarten! I have now stayed at this resort 5 times. The only downfall is that you may have to ask for room/maid service, but you only have to ask once, and they will be right there. There are plenty of people to help you, especially with free use of beach chairs and umbrellas.

“Very Affordable...Great location!”

I would highly recommend this hotel. It is walking distance to places to eat and the boat tours leaves from a peir right next door so you don't have to drive anywhere. There is a French Pastery Place about a 5 minute walk away with awesome food. The view from the Flamingo is great no matter what room you have.

“Two Texans in St. Maarten”

Definately worth it. I had a blast here. Everything was so convenient and clean. My wife and I were both impressed with the hotel amenities and comforts. Our room was spacious and very clean. The only tiny inconvenience was an eight A.M. knock on the door for cleaning service. We still are confused about that one but other than this we were very happy with the hotel.
