Private Beach Away from it AllPosted Aug 15, 2013
Cons: Nothing within hotels control (taxi rates)
Location: Beach and pool are it. You have to drive to go see anything or do anything different.
Wonderful staff, great restaurants, amazing sandy beach! Awesome experience. Just be prepared to pay for taxis (expensive) if you want to visit anything else on the island. Room was nice but terrible view - think the worst in the hotel (loading dock rm #2202 east wing). Other than that nothing but good things and fond memories! It was our wedding anni while there and the hotel but a complimentary bottle of bubbly in the room! Nice touch!

Exceeded ExpectationsPosted Aug 8, 2013
Pros: The staff, decor and comfortable feeling being there.
Cons: Can't think of anything.
Location: Perfect location to get to nearby restaurants. The resort offered kayaks and snorkel gear to use for free and we also rented jet skis.
The resort is beautiful and so is the beach. All staff were friendly and very helpful. It was a comfortable atmosphere and we enjoyed sitting in the garden area at night. Would highly recommend this resort and will plan to stay again in the future. Didn't want to leave the island. Awesome vacation.

A very beautiful hotel.Posted Aug 5, 2013
Pros: I really liked the court yard leading to the pool and beach. Your staff especially Sunshine and all the crew that worked the bar by the beach.
Cons: I felt for the time of season we went the prices for the rooms were a little too high.
Location: Didn't think there was much to do on French side but do recommend Da Tony ristorante. The food was excellent and our waiter was terrific.
I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. It was very well maintained and everyone on the staff were wonderful. Great pool and bar area and a beautiful beach. Was very sad to have to leave.

A beautiful retreatPosted Jul 27, 2013
Pros: Perfect place to regain one's strength, an unhurried way of life.
Location: Secluded area, need to rent a car. Eat at Rancho del Sol. Visit Grand Case (make your own perfume at Tijon) and Shop at Marigot.
The Radisson Blu is a beautiful quiet and secluded place in which one can rest and relax. It is located in Anse Marcel on the French side of the island between the mountains and right at the beach. The property gardens and surrounding areas are very well kept, you can see the butterflies enjoying the tropical flowers and listen to the singing of birds. We travel as a family and loved every moment of it. The staff was very friendly. The complementary buffet breakfast was great, loved the coffee! We ate at C Le Restaurant and everything was outstanding, the food, the service, the people. The pool; my son favorite place; is large with a zero entry and infinity edge. The beach is in a beautiful cove with different hues of blue and green. The room was comfortable and serve its purpose, to sleep, since there was so much to do and see. We rented a Jeep and went all over the island but were always so happy to have this special place to return at the end of the day. This was our second time in the island, the first time we stayed on the Dutch side and after spending six days in here, I have to say I'll be back.

Great Week in St. MartinPosted Jul 19, 2013
Great hotel, beautiful grounds, this was an excellent choice for our stay on St. Martin. Our stay included breakfast, which was a very fresh & complete buffet. We would recommend renting a car, great restaurants in Grand Case and Marigot are just a few minutes away. (BTW, the onsite restaurant was very good, we just like to get out and explore.) We would definitely recommend the resort, and would definitely come back!

Paradise in St. MarteenPosted Jul 18, 2013
Pros: The hotel was very private with access to the beautiful beach
This was my first vacation to an island and staying at the Radisson Blu was excellent. The staff were very friendly and the hotel was so accommodating. My husband needs a fan to sleep and they provided one the next day.

Pros: The friendly staff was always eager to help us with our French. They definitely made the trip personal and memorable!
Location: Loterie Farm offered a fun hike and the market in Marigot provided great souvenir shopping.
Great experience! Off-season meant the beach was uncrowded and the staff was very attentive. Snorkeling provided hours of entertainment!

Awsome get away stayPosted Jul 13, 2013 on Hotels.com
We loved the secluded location and resort environment. The staff in every department was very pleasant and thoughtful. Highly recommended for a true resort get away compared to other so called resorts.

Nice, exclusive hotelPosted Jul 8, 2013
Pros: The private beach, the pool, the restaurant (C Le Restaurant for dinner was fabulous), the cabana bar, the open airiness.
Cons: If you don't rent a car, it's a bit of a process getting a taxi cab. We left the resort in the evening for dinners, and you need to call ahead.
Location: Grand Case Beach Club was beautiful to watch the sunset. A must-see. Grand Case had great restaurants and the live music at Blue Martini was so fun!
Recently went to the Radisson Blue Resort for a trip with my fiance. The resort is beyond beautiful. The beach that is part of the hotel was perfect, very exclusive and clean. The infinity pool was a complete blast. We went for July 4th weekend and the hotel was not crowded whatsoever, which was great. Probably would have been a different vibe if it was packed full of Spring Breakers, etc. We ate dinner at C Le Restaurant the first night we were there. If you can reserve a table by the water, it's a beautiful, romantic evening. The bar at that restaurant stays open late and we often went there for night-caps after going into Grand Case for dinner outings. The food on the French side of the island was impeccable, truly. I'm a complete foodie and haven't had seafood that good ever. Le Tastevin was our favorite restaurant. The service was like nothing I have ever experienced and the view of the ocean right below you, makes for a memorable evening. It's owned by two twin brothers who are perfectly attentive. Because the Radisson Blu is in it's own little area, it's about a $20 cab ride each way when you leave to go to Grand Case (just something to keep in mind, make sure to carry cash). Unless you want to see what commercialized life is like in St. Maarten, I'd recommend not going to Orient Bay. It came recommended by our concierge and was sort of a waste of time (although seeing the nude people made it worth it). Overall, Radisson Blu made for a beautiful, relaxing trip!
