I highly recommend this hotel

Business trip. Just looking for a comfortable, quiet place to stay while working. This hotel was a really good value, extremely clean and comfortable at a good price. There was some construction/renovation going on in one part of the hotel, but if you were a guest, you'd never know it!!

Not a bad hotel but overbooked

Had a reservation for 5 people in a 2 queen room, but when we got there they only had a king available. So really upset that we paid that much money for 3 rollaway beds. Housekeeping didn't come until 4:30 pm. Front desk was nice, but I expect more from a Holiday Inn.

Embarrasing

Pros: The waitress who waited on us for breakfast.
Cons: Hotel apparently likes to overbook! Even if your room is paid 10 months in advance & has been confirmed.
Hotel over booked. Instead of 2 beds for 4 women, we received a room with king bed, & couch, & cot that had to be put in hallway in front of our door; which once set up we had to climb over to get in & out of room. Think that would be a fire safety hazard? Also room had only 2 towels, no extra pillows, & no extra blankets. Of course we didn't realize this, until we set up the beds after we returned to the hotel after 10:30 at night. Luckily we had brought a blanket up from our car. Also our supper at the hotel, we got to eat in the bar - not sandwiches, but their full menu items? While the dining room sat empty? They did use the dining room for breakfast? When I checked out, the clerk said we should have called down for towels, pillows, & blankets - but at 10:30 pm at night & we wanted to go to bed - who wants to call & get what should already be in the room already? Plus the hotel was overbooked & we had waited for the cot to be delivered & it wasn't in over an hour? This was a room booked, paid for, & confirmed over 9 months before our stay. I was told next time I should call a week before we are coming to verify if there actually is a room I have booked & paid for?
