The ecological havens such as the Mississippi National River and Recreation Area, give visitors an insight into the birds, trees and plants which inhabit the local area.
The sporting heart of St. Paul, is Xcel Energy Center, the home ground of the legendary Minnesota Wild ice hockey team in winter. If there is no game on, you can still visit Xcel Energy Center to catch a backstage tour.
