Great hotel - go for it!Posted Jul 28, 2013
Pros: As soon as I got to the hotel I felt relaxed and looked after.
Cons: The room was rather hot, even with the window open!
Location: The hotel is away from the towns but is quiet, cool and very relaxing.
This really is a great hotel. The location is at the end of a quiet, leafy lane with a small car park but parking was never a problem. The hotel is run by friendly staff where nothing was too much trouble. Everyone I met was polite and made me feel very welcome. The room was big enough and well maintained. The only reason I did not give maximum points to the comfort was that it was a little too hot at times! I think this would suit most people staying in Jersey. Families may prefer being right on the doorstep of a beach but the families that were staying at the hotel when I did looked to be having a great time. There is not a huge pool but then again, that's where the beach could come in! I can't really think of anyone who would not book a trip to Jersey and not like staying at this hotel. The buffet breakfast choice is good, with the option of hot food to order. Evening meals are beautifully presented and were as good to eat as they looked. Personally, I thought it was equal to that of many well respected restaurants in the UK. The gardens were a lovely place to sit and chat, read or just relax. I highly recommend booking this hotel. It made my holiday just a bit more special. If you find yourself hovering with your cursor over the 'book it' area, go ahead and press it now!

Wonderful hotel to relax in.Posted Jul 20, 2013
Pros: Standard and quality
Location: You need a car, as this is out of town.
We found the hotel small and friendly, yet with a good standard of professionalism. We had exceptional weather and made use of the small, but sufficient pool area. The staff were exceedingly helpful and friendly. The hotel is ideal for young families and those who do not have children, as I feel there is nothing for teenagers here. Our room was a good size and very clean and maintained to a good standard. We certainly want to visit this hotel again and hopefully soon.

Alright for a nightPosted Jun 16, 2013 on Hotels.com
First time at Greenhills Hotel but have stayed in hotels offering better value when visiting Jersey on numerous previous occasions. Young receptionist was functional yet slightly frosty at check in. Room overlooked small swimming pool which attracted guests to sit directly outside our room all day and in the evening until dusk. Room could benefit from TLC, showing age with evidence of a previous water leak from above at some point. Number of flies buzzing around upon entering the room on arrival which should have been checked prior to arrival of guests. On the plus side, huge bed and big flat screen TV with excellent picture quality - not that we spent much time in there. Didn't eat in the hotel except breakfast but beware of unusually early closure of breakfast room on a weekend including Sunday which forces you up early if you want breakfast and consequently a very busy breakfast room and buffet choices ran out caused by demand. Overall a comfortable stay but better value to be had in Jersey

Peace and tranquility at its' best - A litle gem !Posted May 30, 2013
Pros: We had the bar meals rather than the 3 course dinner and although the choice is not huge, sufficient variety on offer and all very good
Location: Beautiful location but you do need a car as the last bus back is 4 o clock but we got a taxi from St Helier easily enough
I can thoroughly recommend this hotel. My husband & I have just returned from a relaxing three day break here with another couple. Our ground floor room opened directly out on to the garden. The staff were pleasant and friendly and couldn't do enough for us. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. On our last day we ordered afternoon tea while waiting for the taxi : The finishing touch to a wonderful break. We will be back !!

Dream breakPosted Apr 22, 2013 on Hotels.com
We choose the hotel from the internet and found the hotel to be everthing we had hoped and more. The hotel staff were brilliant and nothing was to much trouble for them. The hotel rooms and public areas have a taste of elegance and are clean tidy and welcoming, and the food served in the restaurant is wonderful and negates the need to go out to eat. It is a long time since we have stayed in such a good hotel.
