Pros: Close to the highway and restaurant next door.
Cons: The room I as in needed to be painted.
Location: Nothing to do but close to the highway.
The hotel needs refurbishing......but for the price, you should not expect too much.

Pros: The location and size. Not a big hotel, small and cozy.
Cons: Tv's could be updated. Our room was right next to the breakfast area, was woke up everyday at 5:00 a.m. by the TV on the wall in breakfast area.
Location: Ameristar Casino, St. Charles historic district.
Good location to get around St. Peters area. Close to O'Fallon, 10 minutes from St. Charles and Ameristar Casino.

noisy, sink in main room. Staff unresponsive, good only if you cannot find something else. Will not stay there again.

Pros: Staff was great. Continental breakfast.
Cons: Improved matresses. Sign to tell you where to turn in facing highway
Location: St.Peters Mo. Lots to do in St. Charles too
Hotel was reasonably priced. Staff were friendly. Room was clean but the bed was like a rock. Unusual access to hotel, from a gas station parking lot. No sign visable from the street telling you this until you're back on the expressway by mistake.

Not so nicePosted Aug 16, 2013
Pros: The bed was somewhat comfortable. And when we left, the acting clerk, who was busy cleaning chairs, was friendly when I handed him the keys.
Cons: The cleanliness of rooms. If the cleaning staff aren't doing their jobs, they should be fired, or at the least be re-trained on how to clean a bed.
Location: Not sure. Seemed like a busy growing town, or towns, with alot of things to do there. Restaurants and shopping areas.
It was late at night and we needed a place to stay, as we were driving a long cross-country distance. I had been to a Days Inn before, and they were fine then, so I found a cheap deal from Expedia here to tide us over the night. Upon pulling into the place, we were suddenly barraged by dirty stares from some of the patrons/owners. The ones who didn't stare seemed to not really give a care about the job. This was late at night, and we just dismissed the behavior. When we got in, we were told all the rooms on the first floor were booked, and there were only a few available on the second floor. Since I had already booked and paid for the room, we "had" a room. So we got up to the room, and after getting in, found it was pretty warm in there, we turned on the A/C, and stripped back the bed sheets. Lo and behold, there was DOG hair, or what looked like dog hair all over the bed. By dog hair, I mean it was short, and dual colored, black with white tips. Regardless of whether it was a dog, or somebody who had a bad night in coloring their hair, it was pretty gross. As we were trying to decide what to do, we noticed cigarette ashes on the floor. This being a NO-SMOKING room, we were pretty perturbed. So we both went down and told the clerk, who said that he'd get us another room. He gave us the key, we went up, got all of our stuff, and changed rooms. Again, warm room, turned on the A/C. No dog hair in the bed, and no ashes on the floor.
