“July 4th on a whim - would go back!”

We decided to get out of town over the July 4th (2010) weekend on a whim & chose St Louis as our destination. We chose this hotel for price but it turned out to be the greatest location as well. We arrived 2hrs earlier than the 3pm check-in, but the clerk was extremely helpful & our room was ready. Although the hotel reservation said Ramada & the hotel had recently changed names (which is the only reason the hotel was "hard to find"), it ended up being the greatest location! The hotel is close to shopping & places to eat, a short drive to St Louis & historical downtown St Charles, conveniently located off the highway, & has great options for the free breakfast too. The room was comfortable & clean, and the hotel staff was extremely accommodating. On our next trip we will definitely stay here!

“We would stay again”

The hotel was perfect for our needs. It was in a good location, our room window overlooked a beautiful large pond. (It snowed that day so it was pleasant and relaxing to look at) I was pleased to encounter a young friendly american couple running the facility. (Which was kept nice) There were only a few things that could use improvement. In the sitting area of our room there were some pretty questonable stains on the carpet and some odd fluid dripped near the baseboards. We could not use the safe provided cause some smart person didn't clear the code and leave it open before they left. The walls were a little thin and we could hear the TV on both sides of us. We just didn't walk in our bare feet in the room and turned up our TV a little louder. It worked out O.K. Overall it was cheap, convenient and a comfortable stay. We would for sure book a room here again.

“Not a bad motel.”

Motel was in a convenient location in St Peters. Had a dried up wash cloth in the shower when we got into the room. The room was an average room. Would probably stay there again.

“Just fine for a couple nights”

If this hotel would replace carpets in the rooms and more detailed cleaning it would have been good instead of ok. I just want a safe and affordable price and I did get that at this hotel.

“Decent price for a decent hotel. Sub par breakfst”

The room was huge and the beds comfortable. However, the bathroom was small and cramped with the curved shower curtain rod extending out almost over the toilet. We had cobwebs on our light fixtures. The breakfast was very small with little variety and the only thing "healthy" was raisin bran and fresh oranges. Everything else was full of white flour and sugar. The hotel lobby and hallways had a bad smell -- musty and old smoke, but our non-smoking room did not have any odor. The fitness room was small but we did get in a decent workout on the treadmill, eliptical machine and recumbant bike. The price was decent, but wish the breakfast would have been better.

“cheap overnight stay”

The hotel was cheap and right off the highway. It was clean enough for one-night stay or a weekend, if you don't plan on being there much except for sleeping. The beds were comfortable.

“Good for a night.”

The night manager when my husband and I first arrived was awesome. He was very nice and made us feel very welcome. The room was nice. Something on the base board by the TV but nothing serious. Biggest complaint was there was no hot water. At all. My husband and I both had to take cold showers and when its snowing outside, that's not good. Breakfast in the morning was gone by the time we got down there at 9:00 AM. We were trying to check out and the girl at the front had a sign up that said back in 15 mins. After waiting for 20 we finally called the back office and she came out and just said hi. No sorry, no how can I help you, nothing but Hi. Overall though we were very happy with the hotel. It was a good overnight place to stay. Wouldn't go back for longer then a day or two.

“It's a Days Inn with affordable rooms”

We stayed 2 nights in this hotel when we attended a wedding at the golf club next door. It is perfectly located for this purpose. It's right on the highway, but there was not a noise issue - it's set back a bit. The mall is the next turning off the highway, and there are lots of places to eat there. The hotel itself is satisfactory, nothing grand, but that is reflected in the room price. There is no fridge in the room, but there is a coffee maker and a safe. The soda machine was empty the whole time we were there, but there is a 24 hour gas station on the same access road so we stocked up there. I have seen other reviews saying there is no pool, which is true, but the description doesn't say there is! All the room doors are inside the main building, so fairly secure. Don't expect a 4 star hotel, and it will do you fine.
